I'll wait it out and hope someone has it preorderable at a more reasonable price.

What are the chances that this is one of the club exclusives that's been hinted at?

Pardon the rant, but...we always get Nemesis Prime. Whether its in Armada or Energon or whatever, it seems that we can't escape him. Ever since the popularity of Car Robot's Black Convoy, aka Scourge, spiked, Hasbro has been trying to recapture that glory. Thus everyone of them has been that black/silver/gray/teal clone, with the exception of the Universe form, the only original Nemesis.
Its nice that they're doing a black repaint of Prime, but as Nemesis. Where's the originality? Where's the gutsy move by releasing MOTORMASTER as the black repaint or another character like TRAILBREAKER. I'm just disappointed...

 

Rollbar and Ricochet were easy enough to skip. Short of a new head, Nemesis will be skipped as well. OMG TEH RAREOORZ be damned.

 

This was exactly my first thought when I read the news. If Hasbro is releasing Nemesis Prime, you can forget about getting this toy retooled as a Trailbreaker. That's a shame cause I think the Ram robot mode is pretty close design for the old gas-guzzler.

By the same token, they can't make an Ironhide out of it either, unless they make him another color.

So what's left? Hoist? Ick.

Sorry, this is crummy news. I love that they're finally making some more Alts that aren't compact cars, but as far as I'm concerned the Ram has gone 0 for 2 regarding character selection.

Well, not really surprised by the news. Either way, I'll try to get him and rename him Motormaster. 

And yes, I thought I was dreaming when I saw that Razerwire, Redline, and Liokaiser were Mods. Still no biggie, just have to get use to seeing them fancy new badges next to their screennames.

Am I the only one who finds the entire Nemesis/Scourge concept quite silly? I'm not too keen on the mold to begin with and I'm certainly not gonna get the version with black paint and red windows this time either.

Hoist, on the other hand, now that would be nice  

 

Our local Walmart has got to have at least 10 Sunstreakers and many Prowls, Tracks, Skids, and Riccochets. All but Riccochet have been sitting for a while now. This scares me because if Walmart sees this "mediocre" wave sitting on shelves will they want to bring in future ALTS?!? It reminds me of seeing tons of Smokescreens and Sideswipes on the shelves forever and then very few of the next wave (Silverstreak, Hound).

 

See, this just perplexes me as far as distribution goes... Here in the Bay Area, there are practically NO ALTs on the shelves... Not even shelfwarmers... I haven't seen any for a long time here... Which worries me since that means that the supply is no where NEAR meeting the demand here... And if this guy is going to be limited in numbers, it's gonna be HELL to find...

I agree completely, since I to already have MP Prime.
And like I stated in all the other threads, if I'm getting another Prime, it's got to be Black Prime.  

 

Ah, see, Masterpiece Prime is Optimus Prime.

Alternators Prime (on my shelf anyway) will be Ginrai.

Indeed! That didn't stop me from renaming Decepticharge into Dragstrip, so ol' Nemesis Prime shall be renamed as well because I consider the Universe one to be the true Nemesis Prime. 

Plus, it's not like the figure is going to complain like in those funky VW commercials. 

 

well, if its only limited enough to be a little tricky to find, but not pricey, I'd get three of him, then I could have nemesis, trailbreaker AND Motormaster   that would be awesome... an extra 'con which I always have a softspot for, plus I've always like nemesis's colors, and it seems to be the only way to get ole breaker...

I haven't myself, mainly because you never know how early the Club WILL get what you preordered (that whole 4-6 weeks thing), and it would drive me nuts if I were to see something I preordered already everywhere weeks before I get it.
