Isn't a little odd we have heard hardly anything about Jolt? I mean we've only gotten to see a FAB of him and then there's the incident of him being taken off the alternate cover of Alliance #4. Right now i'm very curious about him. Anyone else?

 

They probably just using him as adverstiment fodder....

Anyways, back on topic. I dunno. Maybe he does something really important in the movie and none of the people who know want that to get hinted at in a leak.

Odd? I don't think so. He was a last minute addition, and probably doesn't do much in the film proper.

The reason he was taken off the cover is probably because he doesn't appear in that issue. All the others show up on Earth at the same time and meet together; Jolt probably joins sometime after the rest of them and that's why he was excluded.

 

What are the chances that Jolt plays Ensign Expendable?

Several character description on website articles say he is a former Con. I know his movie 1 toy was Con, but does that necessarily carry over?

 

The Jolt in ROTF is a completely new character. It's just an example of the name being reused, they're not meant to be the same. Those articles are written by non-fans, who were probably understandably confused.

The comic books have renamed the first movie toyline's Jolt as "Dead End" in order to distinguish them... Which is weird, since there's already an ROTF Scout named that.

Apparantly, a DreamWorks rep said that Jolt won't appear in the trailer, along with a few other guys because they found out who to put in the trailer through research.

What is the possibility, that Jolt's toy bio and name were a prototype? we've heard Orci confirm the character's name and such but Orci can be considered part of the misinformation campain.

On another note, i think they're keeping him hush hush. We haven't seen much of mudflap till that trailer, and yeah we haven't seen toys for all the characters so I'm sure their just holding on to him till the films release.

I'm sure he's there.

I mean, we haven't seen a lot of Soundwave (unless it's him swimming up from underwater), Sideswipe (a ridiculously fast flash in the Showest footage), ANY of the individual Constructicons outside of Demolishor, a far-off Mixmaster, and Red Rampage, etc...I'm not too worried about the fact that we haven't seen Jolt yet.

 

For the last time, that is not Soundwave.

 

I bet he's the first one to die in the movie (if he is in it) that's why we hardly see anything of him.
