Looks absolutely bitchin'! I honestly think my only suggestion to make it better would be to add some weathering to the chains, b/c they seem really shiny compared to that awesome rusted paintjob.

 

i get fuzzy feelings looking at this

 

the closeups are bad ass, would be cool to see the "how many bot i've shot"-list from his truckmode on the botmode too

They have weathering as well, it is subtle.

Ha! I actually thought about them.... however both get hidden in robot mode.... watch the transformation sequence in DOTM, the spikes magically fold up under his torso and go somewhere on his back.

Have you considered using the rustic coppery chains from JoAnn Fabrics necklace and beads section? The ones you chose work great, but I was just curious if you found those rusty chains at the store because they could look pretty awesome and might fit better with the "motif".

Yup. It's what I used for my Devastator project. They come in 2 or 3 differennt sizes. I used the medium size. They are awesome.
