I understand that they couldn't spoil DOTM, and it IS close top his Cybertronian mode, but does he HAVE to be a stratos? I would prefer a Mercedes-Benz C-class AMG Touring Car. A nod to DOTM 'Jacque, and still updating the character's alternate mode while being ture to him.

Actually I don't Wheeljack's alt mode in TFP is a Stratos. It has some similarites true but it looks to be an original car design for the show like the rest of the cast. Besides the people who sas that Wheeljack's alt mode needs to be a Stratos are the Hard core G1 Purists. I know what you mean about some people being pickey about Transformers when it comes to trying out new things, like some people don't get the fact about why Arcee is blue in the show and not pink like her other versions.

It is more in line with a Koenigsegg than a Stratos, true.

It's pretty close to his G1 counterpart, and I think that's what they were going for. ANew designs and features, while staying true to G1.

The Stratos is way cooler than a C-Class, so this is honestly not worth debating

Is sarcasm really that hard to detect on the internet?

Not the normal car; the rally variant.

I'm aware; both versions exceed the C-class in the Gangster Factor

Sarcasm is difficult to discern from plain stupidity even in real life these days, so just try it on the internet.

He's essentially Drifty except not as likable, so I'd say the alt mode is a good fit. The C-class is more fitting Q because of his more harmless personality.

Regardless of what vehicle he may look like, I think as someone else mentioned, he's not any vehicle make/model specifically. Which I think works better, because the TF Prime world is hyper-realized anyway, which should organically trickle down to the vehicle modes for each character (e.g., the vehicons, Knockout, Breakdown, etc.).
