They look pretty cool, though I no longer plan on getting them (too many Prime's in one line for me). I'll be sticking with the Voyager Prime.

They are both very small. Another question. The Optimus we saw on the Hasbro video is another as the voyager Earth prime from the catalogue, am I right? I saw a different (huge) axe lying on the table behind the reporter.

That one appears to be the Roll-Out and Command Optimus Prime figure that we've heard of. It supposedly transforms on it's own. I most likely won't get him, but, he does sound cool. The Voyager Optimus Prime has an axe that transforms to act as the part of his trailer that is directly above the cab (the other part beyond that won't be made in toy form from what we currently know), and his gun also attaches to it in alt-mode.

Yes it was different to the Voyager, that was probably the big electronic version Hasbro have planned, "Rollout and Command Optimus Pime".

The Voyager is the best all around toy of animated Prime but I'll probably buy em all anyway, if just to have an axe collection!

Aw man. Is one of them a deluxe and the other a voyager? I was really hoping that Earth Mode Prime would be bigger. Like RID Prime big.

No, both are deluxes (hence the thread title).

Earth mode prime will also have a voyager that will be bigger.

It's hard for me to see the earth mode's eyes in the pictures.
I keep on thinking the exposed "face" parts are his eyes.
    Which make him looks weird.

I think nothing puts across better than these pics that while the two toys share the same basic design (with some differences mostly in the arms I think) there are pretty much no parts in common at all, so calling it a simple remold is far from accurate.

You guys probably all have bigger tf collections than I do, yet from day 1 I could tell these were different molds while many of you guys could not

Ok, so they're not the same base mold. BFD.

Anyway, they both look really good.

The Voyager Prime is still my favorite, but the deluxe earth-mode is different enough, and I actually like that battle damage.

    Cybertron Prime looks great, too.

I guess I'm just going to have to get all 3 of them... :)

Yeah they look really different but I'm fairly sure they share some parts internally. This is quite an interesting new idea for Hasbro, two figures from the same idea but mostly different moulds. I wonder if it's been particulary cost effective.

I originally assumed some of the light gray parts, like the upper thighs, were shared parts between the two, but side-by-side I can see they are close, but not identical. Same for those little gray elbow-joint parts.

I'd assume if anything is saved by having two almost completely different molds of similar basic design, it would be the R&D budget, since from any other benchmark, it should cost the same as two deluxe toys with nothing in common.

It matters little to me though. I just hope for an eventual "clean and undamaged" version of deluxe Earth Prime, and the Megatron he shares the box with.

    Nice find.

I still say that that is not earth mode prime. That is a TF:A style G1 prime.

It shares more in common with G1 Prime than a firetruck.

    Thanx
