Anyone have any info on where one could go to find some of these?
Price ranges and any other info would also be appreciated...

    Thanks in advance.

Hey G1... Downtown L.A. has some for sale... I think it's a place called Sav-On Display or Fixtures... It's a store that specializes in commercial grade display cases for retail... Call me about it. :thumb

Anything involving G1-Junkie usually involves pictures of Plastic Crack gloriously display behind UV resistant glass.

    Best bet is Princess Auto.

I have a 6 foot glass jewelry case I've been trying to unload for cheap, but no one local wants it.

What company did you initially get them from?

I think getting plexi glass is a lot more safer & cheaper than getting pure glass.

home improvement places like home depot & lowes. sell sheets of plexi glass in all sizes.
you can even ask a employee to use the cutting machine. the employee will cut you custom sized pieces.

I haven't a clue how to attach all 4 corners to create a box. my guess is metal hinges, gorilla super glue,silicone,etc....

I only have one, and I got it from a Nascar store that went out of business. It's the long ones that sit on the floor. I'm in KY, so you're not local either. I'm not even gonna imagine shipping it across the country. It would be expensive and probably end up broken anyway.

This is a few of mine in the video YouTube - My G1 Transformers 84-86 Collection

Got mine at a huge furniture chain

two wood/glass, the big one was $1499...yeah didn't tell the wife how much...it was "used" lol

the small ones with MP /Classics are from IKEA and are $60-70 cheap, you put them together, but they let in a little dust, not too bad for the price.

Thanks to CURAMEN, I managed to track down these potential candidates:

    18"Dx70"Lx78"H
    18"Dx60"Lx78"H
    18"Dx48"Lx78"H

I'm thinking of a certain number of the (18"Dx48"Lx78"H) in white...
You can get them with light fixtures and locks.
The extra glass shelves are like 15$ each.

Sweet, was this a result of my reply?

just curious, did you have the plexi glass laying around in your house? or did you go to lowes, home depot or someplace else to buy the plexi glass? then have the employee cut you precise measurements for free?

Nope, done long ago, and I did buy the sheets at a local ace hardware. Cut em myself though, and have recut/gotten new pieces over time (changing around shelves and/or whatnot).

Also, I have a clear computer case thats supported with clear cubes in each of the corners being screwed into. Im sure one could work out a bigger case, just would require some ingenuity for weight support.

    kinda like this?

    Glass Wall Display

    or like this?

    Framed Full Vision Showcase

do a search for "glass display" and it will give you a wide variety of results, these guys have a lot of stuff including plexiglass risers and stuff at reasonable prices. Hope this helps :D
