Hey Everyone, I went ahead and painted up another one these Commander Class Megatrons, this time with two shades of non-buff metalizer metals, Old Silver for the main body armor and burnt iron for the secondary parts (upper uppers, thighs, hands, face, and back.

I also gave him a subtle burst effect in his purple main body areas and the rest of his purple apps are solid purple. He finally got a gloss sealant.

I put his head on a ball joint as well, since he's non-transforming. The last pic is just a reference shot.

This looks better than the Voyager and Deluxe Prime Megatrons.

NON-Transforming? why? I can't see any obvious reason why he can?

Also side question: His cannon bugs me slightly.. has anyone ever taken it apart?
I'm wondering if there any way to hinge his cannon ball joint where it meets his cannon?
So it sits on his arm "straight"
.. Any one have any input?

    Thanks guys!

He's non-transforming because his paint apps were done with metalizers which are ultra-realistic metal tone paints but are susceptible to retaining finger prints, even after sealing with a special sealant. This one is more geared to the action master enthusiast because unless the handler wore gloves during transformation, prints could end up on the figure quite easily and it'd have to be wiped down every time, which for a commander class would be a paint in the a$$.

Here's a link to his video review where you can see a better accuracy for his metallic glare and all.
