what exactly were you going for? the whole paint job looks rough. not like weathering or him being beaten up, just lots of brush strokes or globs of paint. That's an interesting front end you concocted for the car mode.

woah awesome! is this one of yours?

be sure that i've NOT made a copy of yours! i never knowed that on ethese still exists! i only saw some cliffjumpers.

my comission wanted a devil-like bumblebee so i called him devilbee and did it.

    the red drybrush implies blood.

and i didn't use globs of paint! it's a little assurance of you - you use much more globs of paint than me! >:-(

the globs you see is from the putty-paste, not from the paint.

it's the first time that i saw that users kick a other customers ass - i really dislike that.

    again:

    I'm not a copier and I'm not a fumbler!

This is the first time where that i'm a bit dissappointed :-(

Solrac also did a movie devilbee, out of the old '76 camaro mold. Actually, the links' right below this thread.

I like it, but like Redline, he doesn't look damaged, just looks like some bad paint. Not to say it's bad, just...WHAT were you going for again?

I'm not a big fan of the head, i like the old way where the expression kinda worked as ae evil sneer.

EDIT: Blood? Does he kill humans? Didn't SP already make it clear not to touch organics??? So he was totally black before?

gnah nonono - most of you guys misunderstand that.

Did you know how a devil-figure looks? Most black and red, nor damaged, wounded and very rough.

So his "armour" or "skin" is organic!

At the moment i think i should delete this thread, big mistake from me to post it!

Don't delete it. I think it's awesome. I did the Animated Devilbee a while back and then a Moivebee. I thought it was cool to see another Devilbee. My Devilbee is like Spawn issue 1 and yours is like Spawn issue 100. Awesome!

I think that is a nice bash imo, Like me you just need to hone your painting skills. It just takes time.

i'm really, really dissappointed and de-motivated to create other customs.

i did this under statement of my comissioneers, and they really liked it.

so i wanted to share this and now i get the feeling that I'm a sandback where everyone got a hit for! I don't know how to say it in english, but now i'm feeling rally bad

It looks like a good design to me, the mods you've done to the mold look very nice, its just that the paint work you did isn't quite as shiny. What are you using as far as paints? If its a water based, then you might consider using acrylics. It comes off a lot better in my experience.

Just because people say bad things about your work, doesn't mean they're saying bad things about you. Constructive criticism is key to developing your skills. If you don't know what you're doing wrong, how can you fix it?

well you shouldn't be feeling really bad. I also don't appreciate your attacking me in your first reply. Clearly every inch of this thread is a misunderstanding. Maybe you should post a picture of what it is you were going for so us uninformed folks can get it better. Someone mentioned Spawn. I know nothing of any "devilbee" and assumed it was a made-up fan character. I never said your paint was bad, but I DID say it didn't look like battle-damage (as I said, I know nothing of Devilbee, so I don't know what effect you were striving for). Clearly your paint job is exactly what you were going for (whatever that is) seeing as it is a commission, and your client is happy with how it turned out!. Relax man. Seeing as you're from Germany, I'm guessing your English isn't as good as you'd like it to be, and is a large reason for your over-reacting to comments in here (and our confusion as well).

@Redline: Devilbee is a fan character.

Hey, sorry if you feel bad now, I think people just didn't understand what you were going for. If you and your commissioner likes it, then great.

Maybe all of us have seen too many half organic characters, like Blackarachnia, so much that we've come to expect them to be shiny and new, or battle damaged. I like how you've taken your own little twist on this figure.

    Overall, :thumbs2: :thumbs2: :thumbs2:

I am wondering. Was the person who commisioned it from Italy? When I sold my Devilbee, it went to Italy. I think my movie Devilbee went to Florida.
