Last week at comingsoon.net there was a question "which Super Bowl spot do you anticipate the most"? Captain America was way ahead of DOTM. Now the question is "which one did you like the most"? And this time DOTM is getting it's revenge.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon 34.6%
Captain America: The First Avenger 31.7%
    Super 8 9.4%
    Battle: Los Angeles 5.2%
    Thor 5.2%
    Cowboys & Aliens 4.7%
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3.9%
    Fast Five 2.4%
    The Adjustment Bureau 0.7%
    Kung Fu Panda 2 0.5%
    Limitless 0.4%
    Priest 0.3%
    Rango 0.3%
    Just Go With It 0.2%
    Rio 0.2%
    The Eagle 0.2%

Let's give some it some support (bottom right corner)

I wasn't really grabbed by any of the trailers this year, but I guess DotM was less meh than all the others.

DOTM blew me away. Beyond my expectations for the teaser

I'm really surprised DOTM beat out Captain America, but who can blame the people who voted on that poll ;)  Transformers clearly has the best visual effects and CGI out of all those films.

Maybe because of The Human Torch as the main character AND because the name "Captain America" is generally disliked anywhere besides america.

Sort of feeling the same way. Kind of felt like all the movie ads were just throwing the names out there rather than finding a way in 30 seconds to say you must watch this film in a theater.

With so many of them being 30 seconds of action they kind of blend together when they show so many.

Yes! Which is why I'm happy DOTM kept it short and sweet.

Mystery is mostly appealing when it's attention you're looking for.

Super 8 was easily the best for me. It was interesting, but kept the mystery going, and the Spielberg vibe was fantastic. DotM's spot looked good, but is ultimately a bit shallow, while Super 8 left me wanting more.

Yea I'm no fan of the trailers that tell you too much about a film. If it comes down to a choice I'll take a trailer that doesn't tell me enough over a trailer that tells me too much.
