    DC COMICS
    JUL060168 52 WEEK #18 $2.50
    JUL060137 DETECTIVE COMICS #823 $2.99
    JUL060187 OUTSIDERS #40 $2.99
    MARVEL COMICS
    JUL062009 PUNISHER #37 (MR) $2.99
    JUL062003 UNCANNY X-MEN #478 $2.99
    COMICS
MAY063081 GI JOE SCARLETT DECLASSIFIED $4.95
    JUL063228 TRANSFORMERS STORMBRINGER #3 (OF 4) $2.99
    MAGAZINES
    MAY063544 DOCTOR WHO SPECIAL #14 $11.99
    JUN063571 DR WHO MAGAZINE #373 $7.99

A pretty light week except the Who magazine stuff, and I checked my Previews order and had specifically ordered a Special #14 on my May order form. Also, the Justice Black Adam and Captain Marvel figures are sooooooo tempting. I never have light weeks anymore. Oh well. I'm just going to assume my store is going to be late and show up Thursday. Either my books will all be there already, or I'll help as usual to pull my books early.

    Battler Britton #3
Detective Comics #823 (I love you, Paul Dini)
    Exterminators #9
    Jonah Hex #11
    Y: The Last Man #49
Interested to check out John Cassady's Lone Ranger #1.

Plus: WHERE'S MY GODDAMN REORDERS!?! Waiting on Fell #5, Elephantmen #2, SOLO #12

Sidebar: For anyone not currently reading SOLO, shame on you. Without a doubt one of the most interesting projects on the shelves these days. Various comic gurus and notables (Tim Sale, Paul Pope, Howard Chaykin, among others) are given one oversized issue to, basically, do whatever the fuck they want. You generally end up getting a lovely little compendium of 5-6 short(ish) pieces ranging from really esoteric short experimental fiction to more traditional superhero fare. It's just pure comic book love on every page, but I've heard rumors of its impending cancellation. Open the cover, and you can instantly tell that it's produced purely for the love of the medium, rather than in hopes of huge financial gains.

A series this brilliant deserves your money, and deserves continued publication. Buy it.

Solo was cool, I only picked up #1 and #10 but I liked them. Sadly, thought, Solo #12 was the final issue.
