It would take some contract wrangling and some begging, but here are some Comic Writers/ artists we haven't seen yet in TF
    -Geoff Johns
    -Kurt Busiek
    -Marv Wolfman
    -George Perez
    -Bagely
    -Jim Lee

    the writers/ artists I don't want
-Grant Morrison (as if TF continuity couldn't get confusing enough sometimes)
-Pat Lee (didn't he do enough damage?)

as for writers, it would be interesting to see some of the "big names" take on Transformers. Bendis would be really interesting on Beast Wars, given the similar style dialogue from the series.

As for artists, that can be a little tricky. Drawing mechs is vastly different from the more common things in mainstream comics. Artists like Su and Roche have it down perfectly. The only ones I can think of (off the top of my head) would be Adi Granov to tackle the Transformers.

You know, Marv Wolfman wrote an episode of Beast Wars, and was one of the major writers for Beast Machines. Take that however you want to.

As long as Quesada stays far away from TFs, I'll be happy.

Don Figueroa James Raiz Simon Furman

    Transformers: Micromasters
written by Brad Mick aka James McDonough and Adam Patyk and drawn by Rob Ruffolo.

    Transformers: Energon
drawn by Guido Guidi and Joe Ng.

    Transformers: Armada
Issues 1–5, written by Chris Saccarini and drawn by James Raiz

    Any of them would work.

Strange as it sounds, I'd say Hirofumi Ichikawa, the Japanese fan-turned-pro who actually knows G1 Transformers continuity well. :)

Geoff Johns would probably be the highest name on my list to write TF comics, since I've generally been impressed with his writing. Besides him, the only other writers whose work I enjoy much any more are Robert Kirkman and Peter Tomasi, so one of them could be interesting on the title.

As far as the art, Don Figueroa would be my top choice, although maybe with someone else drawing the human characters.
