Probably not the best place for this but I need to try. I have recently been playing around with my wife's old Palm Zire71 and since my cell phone has multimedia, and I have a video/MP3 player I figured I could use it as a small comic reader, since carrying around my laptop may be a bit cumbersome. Was wondering if anyone knew of a good Program I can use to do this. The only one I have found is called ComiX and I can't get it to work right. For some reason the converter will not start so I just unzipped the .cbr files. That seemed to help as the covers were shown on the start up of the program, but then it says "Image decoding error". I have a feeling this will go unanswered as it is a bit of an obscure problem. Thanks in advance for any help. So far all my Yahoo/Google searches have come up fruitless.

to be honest, using a cell phone screen, or a pda screen would be murder on your eyes. the print would be so small.

Other than that, not much else to offer. Sorry.

I use Mobipocket Reader on my Blackberry, but i don't know if you can get comic books for that program. It works pretty well for books (probably not so great for comics), but I prefer to read books and comics in Treeware format.

I figured I should be able to zoom in on panels to read the lines clearer.
