I agree with you! I understand why she's dissapointed but still she seems to be a VERY unplesent person to be around with! I can see why even her own children (Except for that Erika person who looks like trouble.) are kind of sad and perhaps a little afraid of her! I understand Saber wants to protect them but there's also a chance that by doing things like that you only drive them away from you even further! It's like she wants her family to be completley milirtersitic to the point where it feels like more of a war room then a loving home.

Well can you blame them? I certainly don't want her as MY mother! Well it must be reallly tramuatizing to make her like this. One of these days her over the top disacplne will have a tragic consequnces it seems.

I notice that everybody is ragging on how much Saber's being mean to Crystal. But here's the thing: Saber is not only Crystal's mother, but she's also a friggin' queen. Her children are heirs to the throne (Okay, technically the oldest would be heir to the throne, but whatever) and the most famous and important children in the kingdom. Judging by what we've seen, there are already plans to kidnap the princess, and there might have been similar plots before. You guys may not agree, but I think Saber's anger at 'Bee and Crystal is totally justified. Hell, I'd be ticked if I was royalty, and my kids went off somewhere without my permission. Besides, this is just one moment; Saber could be the best mother ever. I'll bet that if this plot by Screamer's gang goes down and one of the princesses gets kidnap, she'll be the one leading the charge to get them back. TL;DR Saber's not being a bitch, she's being a mother. That being said, I kind of feel sorry for Crystal after Erica's comment. Say what you want about Queen Pendragon, but Erica seems to be the real bitch.
There's being a mother, being a queen.... and letting the eldest of the three children bullying the other two without saying anything. Plus, there's the fact that either the dressing down or the corporal punishment taken separately would have been good enough... But tearing him down mentally, then slapping him around when he's already down in the moral sense ? Yeah, I call bitchiness there.
Sadly I agree but hopefully Saber will become better later on. I don't think she's bad at all but I'm seriously believeing she's being misguided by trying to protect her children that way. I'm also getting a strong hint that the eldset child is somehow maniplating her mother for some sinsister purpose so that also could be an explanantion to why Saber's acting like this.
To be fair, that was only one snide comment, and there doesn't seem to be any indication that Saber heard it. Besides, maybe in the next comic, Saber will scold Erica for mocking her sister or something. Like I said, this is just one moment of discipline. You can't really judge Saber too unfairly for one moment. This. Also this. I'm beginning to wonder if Erica is like Bianca from Taming of the Shrew: Nice and sweet to (almost) everyone, but in reality, anything but.
