I wish the poses, angles and sizes of the toys in the reconstructions were more accurate to the original comic covers. Galvatron is way too tiny in the reconstruction; his head needs to be i the exact centre of the cover with his right knee bent at 90 degrees almost touching Swoop. Although, yes, I get that the toy proportions obviously don't match up with how they are drawn and some toys have restricted poseability.

And the Dinobots should have been actuall facing towards Galvatron like on the original.

I'm actually baffled that you felt to need to post that. The two times you've posted in this thread have been nothing but criticism with nothing positive to say either time. First you had a go about me just not using official figures when i started doing this thing, and now you feel to need to critisise one image in particular. You even answered your own criticism in your post, as yes the limitations of making figures pull off some of the poses drawn by artists without the limitations of real life physics to contend with, is ever so slightly difficult/impossible.

    Four things:

1 - I'm not trying to recreate every image perfectly to the source material as that way lies madness. Call it artistic license if you like.

2 - Do you actually think that i didn't try multiple versions of this? Your suggestion of his head in the centre and his knee impossibly bent makes him not fit on the cover with the right and bottom sides of his body going off page. And the dinobot heads, just maybe i didn't want to spend more time taking and editing photos and just used some shots i already had.....

    3 - I'm doing this for FUN

4 - Do you actually like these? If you don't, if baffles me that you'd bother spending time replying.

I look forward to your 100% accurate comic cover posts showing all these comic covers done to perfection. Remember they can only use official toys and must be perfect to match the original art. That includes facial expressions.
    *sigh*

Seriously, who wades into a thread where a creative soul is being kind enough to share their wonderful artworks and does nothing other than chuck absolutely mindless criticism at them? You are absolutely free to step up and do better if you feel you can. We'd all love to see more fan art. However, one suspects that won't happen, will it?

I wish this post was softer worded, generally lighter in tone ,appreciative and more accurate to other original interactions. The tone is far too critical and specific with nigh impossible exact viewpoints and expectations on somebody else homaging artwork for their own pleasure. Although yes you have constructive criticism obviously starting a post with "I wish" without first acknowledging the accomplishments of the artist will look generally way too tiny of an amount of praise, look derogatory in tone and hurt their feelings.

And maybe you should not actuall post if the effect just makes you look overly critical/ bad.

Disclaimer: this may be a knockoff of an earlier post

How dare you try and have any kind of fun around here - are you unaware that this is an incredibly serious business and absolute fidelity to the source material is mandated by at least two laws?

    1. I DEMAND you make TT produce their version of Galvatron and substitute that NOWH!!!

    2. An apology.

    3. Down with that sort of thing Ted.

Dang, sometimes that blue text is soooooo dark it actually looks black. Like a Priest's socks.

Do not EVER underestimate the compulsion of members of this community and fandom to feel the need to post and express their most intricate and impossibly specific manifestations of unjustified and irrational criticism while completely, wholesale ignoring the positive.

This includes asking you where MP Arcee is in a group shot of MP cars.

    All the best

It happens all the time, and not just to me. Any group shot GUARANTEED someone will post nothing apart from a nitpick. Where's X? You should have done this blah blah.

Kev, your work is SUBLIME. I love it, and I love the time you put into it and I love that it means enough to plenty of people willing to chime in here and express that appreciation.

    All the best

Somehow I'd missed that you had created this thread for all your covers, @kgorman79. I love it! Fantastic work, keep it up!
