Only just discovered this thread, and... christ on a bike, these bring back memories!

One of those memories is, of course, how comics only cost 32p...

I'm glad I'm not begging me mum to buy me comics, now. 32p was an easier sell... :lol

Alas I am no longer the 9 year old who whinged at her for twenty solid minutes in Woolies, to get her to buy me Hot Rod. The begging'd look a bit more sad now I'm nearly 40... :p

    Awesome work, keep it up!

Cheers! Glad you enjoyed them :D

Yeah, it's mental how much comics cost these days. Still remember picking up Transformers and Action Force every week and still having change from a quid!

Innit tho! I used to get Transformers, Action Force, MASK and The Real Ghostbusters. You wouldn't get change from a tenner nowadays!

I got mine from a nice lady at the newsagents, who put them in a big folder in a drawer till me mam picked them up. As a result, whenever I read anything on Comixology, my 9 year old brain goes, "WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!" :p

Been totally neglecting this thread. Update on the way soon but first...

Decided to upgrade my aging iPad yesterday and went for the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. What a seriously nice piece of kit.
Mainly went for the pro as I want to start doing proper drawing and image editing on it

Asked some folks on twitter last night about apps with psd layer support and Procreate was recommended by @santiagojones (get your ass back on here mate!)
Pretty nice app, going to have a lot of fun with it.

Another guy on twitter asked could I do a tutorial for my covers as procreate has a screen recording function. This isn't quite a tutorial but will give you an idea of what goes into making one of these

Hope this works as I don't really use YouTube, and you may need to turn the volume up a notch as my phone was providing the soundtrack!
