I mean, what the heck!!!, what's up with this distribution , nothing is out, the shelves are lined up with freaking ejectors and mudflaps, I mean really?.
I'm afraid I'll have to go online to get some of these generations toys ( not to mention the Dinobots and Constructicons PPC and G1 legends); since the DOTM toys are gonna take precedence on the shelves for the foreseable future;heck I haven't even seen Lugnut yet.
Now I know that people will say "just be patient, they just haven't gotten around to your area yet"; well, I travel a lot and I've looked EVERYWHERE, and have not seen ONE of the new toys in I don't know how many stores I've been to.
Now am I wrong in my view or are the retailers to blame for ordering too many stupid Ejectors ( worst toy....ever) and now they are just not ordering anything until DOTM comes out to ride the movie wave.
Sorry for my first rant ever on these wonderful boards, it's just infuriating to see so many wonderful toys not reaching the shelves.
    What do you guys think?
Thanks again for patiently listening to me I needed to get this off my chest 

Hasbro has nothing, I repeat, nothing to do with distribution. This is all because of the retailers, they're the ones to blame for the things they order.

It's not Hasbro's fault, it's the store's. Anyway, if you're not getting any new toys in any local stores just buy online in bulks. It'll save hassle from hunting and fuel prices.

Plus the fact that we get shafted for a lot of major releases. And now suddenly we're being demonised because the retailers decided to give us all of the Windchargers and RTS figures when we've not really had a lot else to boast about.

    OP, try eBay.

Start ordering online of you can...I used to be a hunt-only type of guy but with gas prices and stores not wanting anything but movie stuff it's a complete waste of time. I've even resorted to paying eBay prices for Grapple and Windcharger just because I didn't want to miss out on them.

The only thing Hasbro is responsible for, which would contribute to this, is case assortments. When it comes to purchasing and distribution, that's down to the retailers.

Yea, case assortment/shitty choices for repaints. But this also kind of falls on Walmart for ordering so damn many of the HFTD wave with the Ravage, jet, ironhide. I was starting to hunt Walmart again when they had 8 empty pegs labelled Generations, and within a week they were filled with Ravages, Ironhides, and the Jet repaint. I don't think they have sold more than about 5 figures in the past month.

The other thing Hasbro may be able to improve is coordination through their vendor reps, but when big box retailers have so many vendors this is pretty impractical. I am guessing that if a vendor rep were to tell Walmart/Target/TRU, you may want to hold off on ordering that much, there is another assortment coming in a month, the retailer is likely to either not listen or cut the amount of space allocated to that product. Retail space is fought for and defended by the different product reps. Only thing they could really do is flood the market with all waves at once.

:lol  We just try and put it in perspective, never had a single complete line at all over here during transformers 25 odd year history. AND that is actually Hasbro US' fault since the UK only gets what hasbro US says we can have.
