Based on what we've seen with Hasbro latest attempt at Bruticus, what is your preference on Combiners? Keep in mind that for larger sizes such as Ultras and Leaders Hasbro feels an obligation to put in electronics which can screw up the transformation.

Doesn't matter, as long as it looks decent and the combination means something.

So combiners of two or three would be welcome as well. Just make them cool.

4 deluxes and one voyager is the only way a traditional Scramble City-esque combiner can really work. And it's not a matter of preference so much as practicality.
A fifth deluxe can't support the weight of the arms! It take's a voyager to create a proportional, evenly distributed combiner. Simple as that. When we get FOC Bruticus in hand, we, as experts in modification, will find ways for him to support his own weight. This is the reason why all promo images of Bruticus make him look so crappy. His arms can look a lot better, but none of the photographers now how to arrange the arms properly.

I Went with other. When you go back and look at the RID/CR line, they did well without using 5 or even figures(Rail Racer,Buildking,Omega Prime.)

i'm tired of the lazy body/4 limbs style, how about the 3+1 style from brave series where each part have different transformation instead of just the core body transform and sticking on the limbs more or less untransformed.

Also, I really like how the poll says "Six, screw G1" where the only time we've ever gotten a combiner with six components were Devastator and Piranacon from G1. XD

This post make me laugh so hard.

In my personal opinion, every combiner will have its flaws, no matter what sized figures it is made from. So I say, admire them for what they are, not what you want them to be.

    4 leaders and 1 ultra :D

But seriously, it doesn't really matter to me. I'll enjoy it regardless.

My vote is other. It needs to be considered on a case by case basis if they are recreating a g1 combiner. Devastator should be 6 deluxes. Scramble city combiners like Bruticus should be a voyager for the torso and deluxes for the limbs.

Yeah, when I said screw G1, I meant if get more FOC/WFC from Hasbro in the future, a la the Aerialbots, Stunticons, Protectobots, Technobots, what's the preference. For me, the preference would of course be one voyager/four deluxes but Hasbro seems to be avoiding voyagers so I'd rather a re-imagined six deluxe scramble city-er then the five deluxe route Hasbro took with Bruticus. My preferences in order

    1) 1 Voyager, 4 Deluxes
    2) 6 Deluxes
    3) 1 Deluxe, 4 Scouts
    4) 5 Deluxes

if they keep it in reference to the originals (which they wont) a 5 member combiner could do well with 1deluxe and 4 scouts(superion/defensor/menasor) and for the predacons 5 deluxes. for piranacon and devy from what weve seen a set of deluxe size figures would be totally possible.

Six Deluxes. I think a Generations Devastator would be great for that reason; he wouldn't have the small torso issue that Bruticus has, due to that fact that his torso would be two Deluxes as opposed to one.

4 deluxes, 1 voyager or 4 voyagers, 1 leader preferably the first one but the second wouldn't be too bad
