I know someone else made this before. I thought I would try doing this too since it seems you can't buy that guy's adapter anymore.

The concept is to adapt the Energon Optimus Drones or Energon Wing Saber onto a Combiner Wars Torso. My The ultimate goal is to get Wing Saber onto a combiner wars torso with working knees and bicep joints.

That'll be awesome considering I still have the energon prime trailer and drones.

Sorry for the slow updates. I am designing this, then printing the prototype through shapeways, which can take some time to produce and ship. Here's an update

I got my second print of the shoulder adapter. I added a few adjustments for better fit. It works but I am reconsidering the design. I would like it to work with a ratcheting joint so it can hold up the arms weapon. I'm also planning to design another joint segment for the elbow for added length and better posing options. Those arms look a bit short!

Still working on this project. I tried to revamp the design using a Ratcheting joint, but it turns out I made them too tight. So that was a wasted print. :(  Back to the drawing board.

Just for laughs, I thought I would try to turn my Shoulder Adapter print, which i thought was overly tight. Using 2 pliers to grab each side I gave it a twist. That seemed to break the tension enough to get it to work right. Pretty cool! though I think I'll still readjust the tension for the next print.

Looking at those adapters... kinda wished some 3rd Parties would go and make modern versions of Wing Saber and the OP drones from Fattimus, but make them CW compatible.
