Given the similarities, Most likely they started with the same cad model, but given the amount of rework done I strongly suspect the parts aren’t 1:1

 

Well some madman used shapeways parts to modify CW Brawl for use with the FP Bruticus
As good as this looks I still think the CW version has the superior torso mode and I dare say Prime Wars Blast Off is a more reasonable buy than Explorer. I like it but at the same time it confuses me.

 

Even if you could add a combiner plug to attach to the torso you still have the problem of no 5mm port for the hand/foot on the other end. It is disappointing she can't combine but there is always the chance for Lancer.

 

The entire upper body has been redone. Her chest no longer flips out. The rear tires are now attached to the wings. Her lower legs and feet have been redone. The car canopy has been reworked as well.
Best result for using Chromia, is taking her head and gun and finding a matching shade of blue to paint Moonracer with. That's if the neck uses the same ball joint.

I have CW Deluxe Vortex, Swindle, and Brawl scheduled for delivery on Thursday. I have Onslaught and the Prime Wars Blast Off already so I'm pretty excited to finally have a complete Combiner Wars Bruticus. I currently have CW Superion, CW Menasor, UW Devastator, Hasbro Computron, and PotP Abominus.

 

Is that Feral Rex with CW Menasaur and UW Bruticus?

 

Yes, it is Feral Rex with CW Menasor. Bruticus is CW also, just with DNA Designs upgrades.

 

What about pipes or huffer?

 

Ah, I see.   So he does scale well with CW/UW/PoTP combiners like Bruticus and Volcanicus with foot upgrades. On one hand that's great if you want to keep your CHUG collection in one scale, but it's shit on your wallet because Feral Rex is way more expensive than nearly any CW/UW figure. Hell I'm having trouble finding Muitioner at a decent price, the Feral Rex version of Predaking might need me to sell a kidney on the black market.

 

I had no problem finding Munitioners...



I think I still have a few more in box.

I suggest looking at complete FP colossus sets on ebay, might be a cheaper option in the long run... sell off what you don't want.  

 

I retook some pics of the aerialbot protectobots and technobots so i thought i reload all of the combiners i have opened up .

I hope tfw2005 dose not mind.

Very cool indeed and really glad you snapped a picture to share with us. What add-ons are on the Bruticus cause i like the feet and the big gun barrels on the back.
