Last I checked floppy meant a lot of missed opportunities.
werd naw but yeah but naw I mean place mat floppy not whiskey Richard
haha details man its all in the details. There are also those super thin plasticky kind and the aforementioned floppy vinyl kind.
Something about the thickness of a credit card.
hell Ill just cut up an old credit card
god knows I need too LOOOOOOLWEEEEP
You've lost me. What the heck is this conversation about?
Fixing Sky Regin's hips.
That helps a lot actually, thanks. hahaha!
I don't know if it's been mentioned before or not, and I don't particularly feel like digging for it, but does anyone know if UW Lynxmaster suffers from the same crappy hips as his CW counterpart?
I have him, he definitely doesn't. The hips have a very noticeable and pronounced friction to them.
Even CW Dezaras has improved hip QC over the original CW Sky Lynx release.
That said, neither equals the ratchet fix I did on CW Sky Lynx when I had him. I had him in combined mode, fully horizontal... and the hip ratchets supporting the weight of the limbs and the PE feet. Pics are somewhere on this forum.
EDIT: Found it.
CW Sky Lynx Fixes?
LOL. If you look at the post you linked back to, it's the same video link that I responded with...
That is the video I used for my fix.
I didn't link to the video LOL
But I was looking for the specific pic I posted of the fixed hips supporting the weight of the PE feet and limbs, showing how rock solid it was. Which was why I linked my specific post.
Just got this guy in today, and wow is he something special!
The figures all look great, but slightly odd. Like theres something out of place I just can't put my hands on. The QC is tight..... and lose. Most of the joints are so tight the attatchments pop off, and somethings are just floppy and frictionless.
Looks like Liokaiser will be going to the future(funiture polish) tomorrow!
I do love truly him though. He is something unique.
In retrospect, one of the best bits of Combiner Wars were those Leader class Decepticons. I didn't really get on board with this until I had TR Soundwave in hand and suddenly realised I could have a full compliment of '84 bully boys! I really do think they all look fucking great together.
just search for victorion on amazon and it'll come up. it was an independent seller, not an official amazon thing
I fully agree, we tend to talk about the combiners in here but My SkyWarp and Thundercracker are some of the high points of my new small and growing collection, for example I don't really display Figures as the boys and I play lots of toy lines ( mostly TF lately though but that's just newness) and my Leader class CW Seekers, TR Soundwave, Megatron have been out of the containers, standing on the shelf where the stuff like con exclusives are stored since I got them, have never been put away yet. Its the reason I want the next retail Shockwave release to be leader class.
You guys are getting me closer to adding Liokaiser to my shortlist behind Menasor, Superion, Computron. My first maybe after those "NEEDS" was Vicky but he may just took her place especially since I do really like Brawl.
Question to the CW experts, which figures come with Cards and which with comics? I really like both so its a wash to me but when I got Trail Breaker ordered I went out and watched review and the freaking geek himself, about the only one who really does take a look at the packaging, reviewed him with a comic ( that I was hype to read) but then when mine came smashed all to hell from Amazon ( I was afraid the comic was gonna be crumpled, like my Ironhide one from BBTS was btw) it had a card instead of a comic. What gives with that were there multiple releases of those ( Wave6?) guys? How do you know which version you will get if you order online?
