I believe Toyhax dubbed it Inferno, funny enough

 

I've been mucking about with Infernus as a name, if only to match up to Bruticus

Galvatronus looks pretty good with G2 Combaticon limbs. The purple camo kind of makes it look like Cyclonus has infected the Combaticons somehow, which fits with the bio idea of him taking over limb bots gainst their will.


I picked up a couple spare Wheeljacks to experiment with. For the one on the left, I made a LEGO wingpack, swapped the elbows with a Sunstreaker to break up the all-white arms, and Gundam markered the faux windshield black, and the rims red. I didn't have enough Sunstreakers or the right LEGO bits to do all that for the one on the right, so I just markered the chest blue and the rims red.

I hadn't thought about the chest paint showing through the front bumper until I transformed them into car mode to take these pics. I didn't notice until I was getting ready to post the pics that I hadn't clicked the chest plates all the way. Once that's done, the black one looks pretty good, but the blue seems a bit out of place.

 

well i'm gonna use the limbs on either grand scourge or "nova prime" depending on which route i go, but if i got flame i'd name it "hellflame" or "inferno maximus"

It's the big Decepticon Hunter sword from TAV33, Supreme Optimus Prime.

Impressive amount of work, but personally I don't think that taking partsforming to the extreme is an improvement, in any case.
(and I am just glad we stopped seeing all those silly combiners based on Unicron's torso...)

Bruticus, my favorite decepticon combiner.

 

One suggestion I'd make for Toyhax Inferno would be to fold down his jet-nose and spread the wings.

The white and the red working together would be a better simulation of BW Inferno's butt rockets (buttcopter?). Now we just need Toyhax to release a few more stickers to add some grey to the underside of the wings.

 

Picked up Deluxe Groove just today. Love him, and it is nice to get a fresh limb mold.

 

Combiner Wars Computron. I don't regret buying the American version, and am not particularly motivated to get the UW one.

 

Anyone have a link to the KO PE hand and foot sets on eBay? I know SirToys have them, I just want to see if they're any cheaper

I like Deluxe Groove as a stand-alone figure quite a lot. As a leg for Defensor, he's a bit too thin next to Streetwise.









He works okay as an arm, but I don't have any great ideas on where to put his guns. Afterburner, Groove's repaint/ retool, doesn't have this problem since I can attach the guns to Computron's thighs when combined.

Oh man, that is interesting. I've been wanting a Trailer that has Menasor Add Ons since I first saw Motormaster. It's a cool custom but is this also a prototype for something coming out? I like everything except the arms.
