Been out of the game a long time and really interested in the "newer" combiners and see a lot of different bots being used like for Bruticus. Is there a list of bots that are interchangeable or usable for arms and legs?I figure most main body figures will have to be the designated ones. I notice people mention ROTF figures that they use and such. Any help would be great.

Powercore Combiners could also swap limbs.

Powercore combiner limbs don't even transform into robots. Avoid them if you're looking for combiners in the truest sense.

I have the dino powercore and was not a big fan. I am more interested in the bigger bots like bruticus and what figures can be exchanged to make him look different.

All of the energon limbs can become an arm or a leg for any of the other teams. They're just like G1.

There are only two limb molds for each team, though - only six limb molds total, with about a million repaints of each across various toy lines. Ok, maybe not a million, but more than I care to count.

aside form the add ons from FP the limbs for bruticus consist of only 2 molds in various colors

unless you want to interchange them with limbs from the energon superion set, or the energon devastator set

edit: megamoon beat me to it

That is what I have noticed that it was similar molds with different colors. I did not know if this was a reuse of mold across different lines or not but all the help is apreciated in guiding me so far.

And they don't really have hands or feet. They look like randomly put together pieces of cars in a junk yard.

What about the Micromaster Combiners from Japan / The original Universe line? Those were like little scramble-city style transformers and they could swap limbs for the most part.
