This is my first figure modification, so be kind in your critiques.
I wanted a IDW "Combiner wars " accurate Prowlstator. I found a lone CW hook figure on Ebay and started from there. I'm working on it daily so I'll post my progress from time to time. First step, disassembly of hook.

I removed the hook and drilled the center out to form a cannon.

 

All parts cleaned and painted white.

 

Arms are done, head half done. I used an old smokescreen head that i had laying around.

 

Here's a non screwed together test fit in Prowlstator mode.

 

Vehicle mode .

 

Robot mode. Lots of detailing from here. Stay tuned.

 

I think you're onto something. It looks good thus far.

Oh God...

 

The ball joint needed for smokescreens head was larger than hooks. So...... I cut if flush and used a ball joint with a sqare end that snuggly fit in the body cavity. Used some locktite industrial adhesive to hold it in place. My oldest daughter finished the head for me and we test fit it.

 

Top wheel screwed in place as well as light bar from a dollar store fire truck that I cut in half.

 

So , its still lacking details and I have to touch up some spots but I HAD to combine him. TFsource sent my pc-06 kit today so I just used a Devastator head that came with hook.
