Well I've been picking up combiner pieces and now courtesy of fellow TFW2005 Crobot I just grabbed Abominus and Computron (no small accessories).

So here's Abominus showing off his poseability (yes he's balancing on one foot in the 2nd pic) and a few others (the scrap one there trying to be mr. big man is not the computron I just got):

The tiny Monstructor

 

Here's a picture of all my combiners from my collection thread. I'll have to take some more pics at some point, but this is all I have to contribute at the moment.



I still want to get me a MOnstructor, and a Bruticus that isn;t bastardized from G2 limbs and RiD Mega-Octane.....

 

I say go for it!

I don't have many combiners unfortunately, just 15 million versions of Bruticus, a few bootlegs, and the RiD ones. None of my Energon combiners are complete, those limbs were so damn hard to find, and I refuse to pay the crazy prices for them online.

 

Since there were taken, I've also got ahold of the Micromaster Superion version of Sixwing.

(Yes, Great Ganbaruger here is nearly the height of Fort Max! He's the absolute tallest combiner I own, dwarfing even Victory Saber and Great Fighbird)

If I combine Energon Hot Shot and Inferno, is that a gestalt?

 

I'd love to contribute but I need to take all the combiners out and that takes time. BTW I may get Menasor one of these days so it can join rest of the Decepticon gestalts in my collection. My brother has it but he's not taking them out of the box for me to pose.


Why do I quote Draven's post? Because I love the pic. Decepticon's got the best looking combiners.

 

Menasor is so small compared to the other gestalts.
After reading the dreamwave comics with Menasor slaughting everybody, the toy just doesn't do him justice.

 

I never counted those. My rules of thumb is at least 3+ bots to count, but the 3 only really works with Road Ceaser and the RID trains and BW bots, not the various Primes.

 

I count as a 'combiner' any two or more individual figures that join in some fashion, while a 'gestalt' as three or more individual figures that join into a larger robot mode.
