Swindle. Done up with mystique flat metallics: Sunshine yellow.
why hes yellow? he suppose to be brown? over all nice job!
I'd say he's a greenish or brownish yellow, but still yellow, not really brown
swindle is tan. a dark tan but tan never the less
looks yellow to me
Swindle is and should be tan. Common sense would dictate that he is a military type color seeing as how he is a military type..... shit, you know that G1 wall you hit in arguments where things should make sense but they don't because it was a stupid kids cartoon from the 80's? Yeah, that's where we're at....
Not a fan of this mold and I'm not a fan of military vehicles having ultra shiny-metallic paints however, the work itself is nice and appreciated.
...lol purple spaceship and shit lol...
I would have painted him yellow as well. Looks great, Sabby!
What does it matter what colour Swindle is meant to be? It's nice work, maybe a bit too shiny for my tastes on this occasion, but it is still a very nice piece.
Yup, it does look nice. And he kinda looks like he has been plated in gold, which is appropriate.
There's one point of critism that I have with this though: he has a bit too much yellow on him. Maybe you could break it up by giving his arms some purple paint?
don't matter what color he is!! Like I said NICE JOB!!!
Its your custom you can paint him any colors u like!!
looks great! but i think you missed some window seal on the right side of the windshield
Red eyes? RED EYES? RAAAAAAAAAAGE!
Just kidding, it looks really good. Although a bit more purple to break up all that gold would've made it even better.
Shame about the fingerprint on the left half of his torso. Aside from that, nice job.
Thanks but you're incorrect. It's the mold that is imbalance.
Thanks but incorrrct once again. That part of plastic had an autobot logo. After filing, sanding and painting that area, i noticed that the paint flaked. Probably due to the plastic. So i filed it for the gritty texture for my paint to adhere to.
instread of brown, yellow or gold, try caterpillar yellow. worked for me....
Nice work, as always, from you, Sabrina. Though, I would tend to echo the same sentiments about the choice of metallics, color choice, and mold choice for this one. I'm not a fan of this mold to begin with, but I think you've done about all that can be done with it. With the Energon or even the Classics types figures, I don't think "real world" accuracy is a huge thing, but I still wouldn't see the Combaticons with metallic paint schemes.
Regardless, your actual paint work is nice. Thanks for sharing
Does he need any mods to combine with the othr Combaticons, scince he's the only one not made from an Energon combiner??
Still looks slightly out of place, but i guess it had to be done. Any idea why that section, though? Swindle's torso is pretty much symmetrical, so i would've thought what works on one side would on the other, but i only see the filing marks on half of him.
