Hey guys, back with some more practise colours. These ones are some Energon profile pieces. Critiques are very welcome! I want to get better :)

    Pencils by Guido Guidi
    Colours by me.

Guido's art is very nice to work on, he sticks close to the toy designs, and it's very clear what he intended every line to be.

    DiveBomb:
I tried something funky with the lineart, made it much lightet to go for a more animated look. What do you think? Cool or does it make it look weak?

I like Divebomb the best... i like what you did with the lighting. Seems like he's flying at night really, which is ironic since you made it lighter.

Thanks! Yeah I figured he should be underlit if he's flying, street lights or whatever below him.

    Nice job:thumb
I especially like the demolisher one, it really has that bright energon feel to it without going over the top.
How long have you been colouring stuff?

Hey thanks! I've been practising my colouring about a month or so. Getting the hang of it. Or of this style at least I think.

I think Divebomb's my favorite, nevertheless, all of those are great.

Your coloring is excellent. From what litle I have seen over the last few days, I can say that your work shines through when mimicking a direct light source (like the Divebomb and your Magamatron).

Also I like it when coloists manipulate the line art a bit. It helps give each piece some extra ambience and depth.
