Cornerstar Target had SS leaders and deluxes. I wasn't planning on getting any of these, but I picked up Blackout. One of the few Bayverse designs I like. Still no POTP Wv2 Voyagers

While not my cup of tea, the Longmont Target had quite a few of those studio figures. Saw Blackout and Grimlock there along with the deluxes like Ratchet and Swerve.

Longmont Target still had a Blackout, Starscream, Ratchet, Bee & Swerve this morning. I gotta admit, if I was any sort of fan of the movies, I'd be all over those - even not, Blackout and Ratchet were still kinda tempting.

Rather complicated. As usual, the tabs on the panels don't want to fit in place or stay in place. The top section above the cockpit is especially problematic. The locking tabs that keep the arms in place are extremely tight...had to use a Lego brick separator to undo these. i'm getting old, so the instructions with tiny pictures are nearly impossible to use. This is normally fine since I like to figure out the transformation "blind" on the first go. Not sure what the extra joints between the knees and hips are for.

So looking at these SS transformers, besides a few that we really never saw, what is so great about them? Definitely not price hike, but I guess if you want them in a box instead of on a card...
    price doesn't matter.
I just want the rest of the PotP waves :banghead: .

Hasbro missed the boat on the ss series. Nobody cares about the movie toys anymore. Thundercracker looks great but I can't pull the trigger on these guys anymore.

Picked up the last SS Thundecracker from the Thornton TRU. Looking sadder every time I go.
Still hunting SS leader Blackout, but still no luck.

You don't hunt Blackout. Blackout hunts you.

    Hey Colorado fans.

I'm visiting Denver for a few days--any amazing collector stores/transformer spots worth hitting?

(I've been to Mile High Comics on a previous visit.)
