If TRU Is still doing the buy one get one 40% off I’d be willing to go halfsies on cybertron (Primus) with someone.

Buy one at $150 get one at $90 total spent $240/2 = $120 a person. Still three times his original price tag, but his new paint scheme is pretty cool.

Still looking for skullitron and bomber megs if anyone spots them.

If any of you guys are in Colorado Springs.The Walmart by the citadel mall has voyager hound and megatron. About 6 of each as of an hour ago.

 

Probably not the right thread - but has anyone been collecting the RID (2015) series and looking to sell/trade. My son and I have recently gotten into the cartoon and we're trying to track down the earlier waves (sideswipe, jazz, thunderhoof, ratchet, steeljaw, etc.) we missed out on. Thanks!

Target at Centerplace in Greeley had a bunch of TLK figures. Nothing new, though. There were also a few Chases and Brawns, a Blitzwing in a squished box, and a Topspin.

Target at Centerra hand a Voyager Octane and Optimus, 2 Quakes, and a Topspin.

Got Decepticon Nitro, Leader Class Megatron and Scorn from Timmy's Toy Box in Colorado Springs!

He wanted $40 a piece for nitro and scorn ($10 higher than retail) and $60 for megatron ($10 higher than retail). WOrth the extra money to get these guys early, and from a local toy shop. Glad to see an early sighting of these guys in state!

If this turns out to be true, I'll likely be picking one up to hold for my son until he is "of age".

 

More speculation, last year Fort max didn't sell out and on Black Friday it was 99 dollars at TF source and then some were able to get him at Ross for 60. Similar situation with Devastator. Also, I got Fort Max for 139 on a price match from TRU, so I'm going to wait and see how sales go. Fort Max is still at TRU

Nitro Zeus is really cool, but him being a headmaster is really harming the head transformation. Leader class megatron is awesome! Finally got my skullitron and Bomber megatron in the mail. Skullitron is loose, compared to Steelbane. I am off to transform Voyager Scorn!

 

Just got my Trypticon delivered, also got Seaspray and Cosmos to qualify for free shipping. (TFSource)

Quitting time is going to take a WHILE to get here...

Edit: Sideshow Seaspray is neat, but his arms are really out of proportion to the rest of him, especially the feet. Looks awesome in alt mode.

Cosmos looks WAY better in alt mode, definitely the weaker of the two.

 

Ok...got Trypticon home.

Right now...I'd recommend getting him retail instead of off of a website, like I did. My Trypticon suffers from a pretty big QA issue, which is sadly something that has happened too often with TR line toys recently for me. His chest plate, where Full-Tilt attaches, doesn't stay shut. No way no how with Full Tilt on, and stays shut so gingerly with FT off that swallowing ONE titan master/head master will pop it open. Yep...a figure with the weight of a few grams can pop a piece open. The plate will not stay shut even with only the piece that FT attaches to on it, and FT off of that piece.

It also seems as though his small teal tail gun likes to pop off if you look at it oddly, let alone touch it.

I'll nail polish some extra mass onto that door, I'm not paying for return shipping. But man...bit of a letdown.

Other than than, he's damn imposing...pity they didn't keep the battery powered walking feature from the G1 toy.

(The other QA issues I've seen...my Voyager TR Blitzwing came without an instruction sheet, and the deluxe fembot in the Chaos on Velocitron set was missing the pieces of plastic that keep her titan master/head master in place. Hasbro QA is definitely slipping.)
