No, sir, I don't like it. The original release had an excellent head sculpt, I don't know why they would change it.
Wow, way to put me off buying yet another fig. What was wrong with the old head? It looked pretty damn accurate. It even had better paint-apps. They should've given him a mouth. The sword isn't worth $50, and there aren't enough changes made to the original deco to warrant a second purchase.
I'm looking at the Movie DVD cover right now, and those "ears" are actually pretty accurate. I'm sure it looks better in person. Either way, I'll probably be getting at least one of these. I really like the metallic paint, the sword is a plus, the head is possibly better, and (I don't know if anyone else noticed this) the seller says that Premium Prime has a new Automorphing sound. I asked him if Prime's lights are blue instead of yellow this time, because if they are I'm 100% sold.
Hmmm, I was so hyped for the fig, but now I"m kinda iffy now with a closer look at the new head sculpt. Hard to say it looks more movie accurate when compared to the 1st release; need better pics. Otherwise, may still pick it up since I passed on the first one.

And here I was the other day looking at my original Leader Prime and thinking "wow, this is actually a really great figure...do I really need to upgrade?" These new pics make me say NO! Which is good, since I wanted to spend the money on Omega Supreme and the Yamato YF-21 anyway. Win!
Horrible head... I am happy with my OP, I will pass this one. If he has a new sound, may be an interesting plus, but not enough.

Hmm, it actually looks pretty good to me. Not better or worse than the first head and not a whole lot more movie accurate either, but still nice. The lack of paint apps is a let down, but I was gonna go for the Japanese one anyway for the chrome. I wonder what other differences there will be between the two.
Yes, but some people may decide to not like you after you say it. I say pass. I would laugh really hard if the first sightings were around Easter, though.
I noticed that as well, and in addition to the new sound, if the lights are blue, I will get Premium Prime (and give one or the other duplicate Prime to my nephew).
