    Folks:

This is either useless news, old news, or not news at all, but I just noticed the
Cybertron Kids wear clothes that are color-coordinated with the Recon Team
member they usually use for transportation. Anybody who has noticed this
already can feel free to call me the Short Bus.

Would you settle for "interesting trivia"? Good observation. :D

Hmm...do you even *have* the 'short bus'
in Malaysia -- the one that takes the kids to the
    'special school'?

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=the+short+bus

I just realized that if you don't, the connotations
of your calling me this are more...insulting...
    :)

Anyway, ShadowWing on att pointed out that
the kids don't always ride the same minicon, so
my theory has some holes, but they're still
    color-coordinated with the team.

Yay, now the kids at home won't confuse which kids get which minicons most of the time! Nevermind the fact that they never change clothes.

And people wonder why kids these days have no common sense. :horse:

    Hehehee nice observation Bus.

What about the Armada Kids? Carlos wore a Blue jacket and Highwire was sort of blueish. Carlos wore a Yellow kacket and Grindor was Dark Blue. Alexis wore a red shirt and Sureshock was Orange. ....... Oh wait they dont match at all. Doh!

But they do change clothes! The episodes haven't aired in the US yet, but they get some new outfits towards the end that look pretty decent.
Interesting point on the colour coordination, though. I never saw that before.

no, we dont have short buses here, but i am familiar with the colloquial connotation. alas, my attempt at integrating it with hip hop/urban vernacular has apparently been in vain.

nevertheless, in regards to commentary on color coordination, transformers as a property has in fact emphasized use of colors to identify characters since the beginning, as evident by the tri-color concept of early g1s, so, yeah, where was i?

Oh, you didn't fail at any integration...I should really
factor out my attempts at derivative humor, which
usually end up on the closed interval from zero to
    negative infinity...

What is this 'tri color concept' to which you refer?
Do you mean most characters used 3 colors?
