I'd just like to thank the original poster and the author of the article for correctly spelling Colombia.
While it is outrageous that they managed to get the coffin with a dead person into the stadium, as a person who works sports events, it doesn't surprise me one bit. Security at sporting events can be and usually will be porous and lacking. Granted we always have actual police and EMTs on hand but the ratio of fan to authorites is very skewed. Fortunately 99% of fans in the US that go to sporting events behave and the most they try to sneak in is alcohol.
The coffin seemed to help rally the team to victory? I guess it's good that they didn't finish dead last. Will this start a new attendence record trend? "105,311 living and 2 dead are at todays matchup."
