    BAD NEWS

Dead asleep when my wife wakes me up..... A clog in the main drain backed up the sink. Water went all over the floor and into the basement. Pouring all over one of my display cases.

    GOOD NEWS
The only thing that got wet were my new 25th Joes. I quickly dryed them all off. No damage but my heart jumped a beat. The case right next to this one has all my Botcon, Prototypes and other rarities!!!!

Definately store them in totes. Anything that would stop water damage and direct sunlight. You never know....

Definately store them. You never know if your parents might up and sell them or let some neighbor kid or younger relative in to play with them, resulting in trashing.

a collection of 1500 sits in storage, while i have 7 on my shelf here in my apartment. it happens. just be glad they will be there for you when you get back. it's a small condolance which keeps me going as well, and makes visits home the more sweeter.

Just think of how much fun it will be to unpack them and see them again, like long lost friends.
