Someone in the UK is probably best suited to answer this for me, as they are most reflective of my situation.

I'm hopefully rejoining the club in a couple of days.

But can someone tell me how much the 2 exclusive figures last year went for on the store?

Also how much was shipping of the 2 to the UK, and did Customs take their slice of it?

    Thanks.

    Phill

No idea how much shipping to UK is but Cheetor is $52 and Ramjet was $58.

I can't remember the price for shipping to the UK, but it was very expensive. I had them shipped to cousins in the US of A.

I would suggest going into the UK Toy Discussion thread and asking. I think most of the UK guys did a bulk buy.

    Thank you.

Last time I bought the Club figures I did a bulk-buy for the Seacons (I was the only one wanting a Nightbeat) and the shipping and customs worked out fairly decent when it was all split up, but looks like I'll have to just bite the bullet this time for a solo purchase.

Are you looking to purchase something that's in stock now? You can also go the route Thenames9 suggested and have someone in the US order it. The question is whether that way would be cheaper and/or less trouble?

    Option 1
    Order directly from Club
    Pay Club shipping
    Pay UK Customs?

    Option 2
    Have someone from US order
    Shipping to US location
Shipping from US to Scotland (priority? first class)
Paypal fees (0 is paying as gift)
Finder's fee (0 is someone is helping out)
Customs (0 is item is a gift)

I'm actually looking to join the club again. I'm just trying to plan ahead for the exclusive figures next year, which will likely go on sale in 3 months.

Nah, the club figures won't go on sale for another six-eight months. Plenty of time to join a group buy.

Didn't the pre-orders go up pretty early for the last 2? I know they were about 4 or 5 months ahead for the first 2 sets.

I only got Cheetor, but the cost breakdown was:

    Cheetor: $52 (~£31.50 today)
    P&P: $45.55 (~£27.70 today)
    Customs & VAT: £23.52

    Total: ~£80

Overall postage & customs added on quite a chunk. I actually tried to order some other stuff at the same time to minimise the p&p percentage, but there was no option to combine in-stock with pre-order, so I didn't bother :(
