September sees us press on with our collector interview series, however this month we spotlight a Dutch Transformers and pre-Transformers collector who is slightly less active in the online community than our previous interviewees, but whose collection does all the talking for him. With a very significant selection of pre-production and prototype gems from the world of Transformers toys, comics and cartoons, we believe you’ll enjoy his perceptive observations and fascinating experiences in toy collecting. It’s time we all gave this incredible collector the recognition he deserves…

Marco is top notch. He sold me his extra hardcopy Rodimus wing for my Rodimus hybrid proto (part plastic part resin). Thanks buddy!

Maz - great article as usual

Hard copy prototype Minibots, goodness, those are probably the rarest.

Another great article Maz! It's one of those that I enjoyed the most because of the info on the prototype Mini-bots.

Marco has been somewhat of a legend in the Dutch collecting community. His collection legendary. And he's been around for decades! I don't think I've ever had the chance to meet the guy. Maybe back in the day but not recently.

Beautiful collection! It gets crowded fast when you enter those kind of numbers of toys. Nice read too!

This is one of the great benefits of articles such as the ones you write - it allows us to get to know someone just a little better even if we may never have the pleasure of meeting them in person. :)

I met Marco at the Dutch B.O.T.S show this year and was most pleased to find out he is as gracious, humble and approachable in person as he appears to be online, a real credit. It's been my pleasure to do this, Marco :)
