Saw the new Hulk toys in Walmart tonight. They are some of the crappiest looking toys, but I still had to fight the urge to buy them. Usually if I see anything with the Hulk on it, I instantly snach it up. Caught myself checking them out to see which one was the least ugliest to buy. But then I came to my senses and went on to buy my wife tampons :lol

Yeah, I kind of get like that too. My thing is the Dark Knight figures. I was dead set on geting a Batman and a Joker, if only to keep in the package. I can stand the not so great sculpts, but OMG, that box art is so freakin dull and lacking, and I thought the 'Begins box art was bland. Yet I still want to start grabbing figures when I see them. Luckily they came out with the nicer deluxe figures, taller with more articulation and great packaging, only 3 figs in the line so far, but it holds me off the basic figs till they clearance.

that has got to be the coldest, most brutal DIS toward a toy line i will ever hear.

i did the same thing when Spawn tested my loyalty with IN-Action figures. i didn't want statues, kept buying for some dumb reason and then, when they broke easily, i abandoned it.

at least Clerks in-action figures admit they are bricks, but they are sturdy and have some play value.

I get like this with a few things. If I see a die cast police car I have to buy it. I go to alot of flea markets and if I see any type of police patches or pins I have to buy them.

That too is a struggle I face! Especially when I visit my import stores! Most of the time, I buy stuff simply because they look cool and nice! The only solution I can offer is to constantly remind myself that I really need to save for a rainy day! :D

    I'm glad I'm not alone.

What makes it worse is, I know how picky I can be and that I can't always trust my immediate judgement. Like I hated the SWTF's at first, and now I am tracking them down all over, and paying too much for some of them. Now I wonder, will I maybe want one of the Hulk figures in 5 years from now and pay 30 bucks for it on Ebay?

Clearly I'm retarded though if I think or will ever think to want one of these Hulk figures, he's a turd.

I'm a BIG Hulk fan too but in this case, I will give the movie toys a miss for the following reasons:

    i) workmanship is not up to standard;
ii) not in scale with my ML collection; and
iii) the various Hulks from the ML line are so much better!!! Like the face-off Hulk with Leader.

Guys, I know holding off the movie Hulk toys is hard but why not hold out for the upcoming Hulk wave that has BAF Fin Fang Foom?

If those figs go for $30 after 5 years there's something really wrong with this world.:lol

Heck I'd love to get rid of the couple figs I have from the last flick but know I'll never get anything for them, ah well.

Well we are talking ebay prices, almost nothing on there is ever priced for what it's really worth, just what scalpers and such think us nerds'll pay.

But yes, you're right. I should have said 3 dollars ;)

The figures from the last movie weren't too bad. I've got most of them.

Yeah I think they're better as well, especially the ones with the string attatched to the back for the "leaping" feature. Take off the string and voila, a great looking, articulated, bulky Hulk.:thumbs2:

Oh, that was pretty good! But my fave is the one that comes with a wall as a prop! He looks so life-like (as in the movie) that if he was bigger, he would have been my fave Hulk figure! :D

I don't remember the Hulk dogs being released.

I've got the blue pants Hulk, the leaping Hulk, 2 of the ones where you squeeze his legs and he flexes. I'd flex in pain too if someone squeezed my legs and crushed my nuts too....

I've also got the Roaring Hulk. Push the button on his back and his mouth opens and he roars. Only problem is that the rubber around his mouth is breaking away. So now, he just looks retarded.
