HUGE guy auditions. Doesn't make it. Guy is 500lbs easy. After the guy has left the room Simon says "Just as well. We couldn't afford the food bill." :lol  I'm fat and i am not offended at all.

    God i love Simon.

That's not cold, he wasn't even in the room.

Cold is telling that one guy/girl/thing that he/she/it looked like the incredible hulk's wife.

I think the best was when he told one guy to shave his beard and put on a dress and he'd do better.

You guys are aware that they pay actors to do some of the really bad auditions, right?

That wouldn't suprise me in the least. I also have yet to see even one episode of this show. It has never apealed to me enough to watch. I must admit I was listening to an internet radio station and liked a song enough to see what the artist was only to see it was Kelly Clarkson :banghead:  .

I can't believe this show is still on the air. I've seen a total of 5 minutes of the show for the past however many seasons it's been on. I still think I gave the show way too much of my time.

Don't slam Kelly. She's actually a pretty good artist and after dumping the creator of A.Idol as producer her songs have improved by leaps and bounds.

I didn't know that. I'm not surprised at all. Gotta keep the "reality" TV flowin'.

I don't watch this show either; I care too much about, y'know, everything else to be interested in a bunch of ex-regionals-winner, high school choir kids singing songs I don't like anyway. I got enough of that being part of the pit orchestra in high school. (shudder.)

So you can sing. Great. Put it to use - use it to get some play.

    (edited to PG.)

American Idol pays actors to perform horribly.
Survivor, during its first season, was caught giving food to contestants by Richard Hatch, who ended up winning. Go figure.
The Great Race actually pre-plans everything, so they can never miss a flight, never get stranded.

All this "DANGER" and "REALITY" is actually just paid to look that way. The only real show was that show on SpikeTV, where the guy actually believed he was on a reality show.

Reality TV is a joke. Those who find it real should get their heads checked because in all honesty it's a slap in the face to those of us who actually consider it's existance a waste.

I don't care if it's paid actors or what, but Simon's comments are absolutely worthless.

Also, Kelly Clarkson had a record contract guaranteed before she started on American Idol. It was info released about 6 months after the first season and that horrific movie she and Guarini did together. The reason they did it? To "prove" that AI can make a star out of anyone.

Yet...their man concern is whether or not one of the contestants boned Paula Abdul.

Okay. I must come from an odd world. Fraud's okay I guess! :D

Even wrestling is fake.(sorry to rain on anyone's parade)

TV stations and producers and whatever use reality TV to fool those of us stupid enough to beleive it. Honestly I am sick of reality shows. I prefer those crime shows (Law+Order, Law+Order SVU, Law+order CI, CSI, Monk....)

Off topic- I am colder than Simon. It just works out that I actually care when I insult people.

Interestingly enough, it's a point neither side brought up in Hatch's trial, and now that he's conviceted of tax evasion, he faces years in prison.

    Mwa ha.

I find it hard to believe that AI would hire people to fake it, since there are so many freaks out there who think they can sing. I mean, they must be hiring most of them, because 95% of the people that show up are just BAD.

I'm not saying they don't, but I just can't see why they would need to.

I sticks to Forensic File and Trace Evidence on Court TV for my reality tv fixes. I don't watch Idol, Survival, etc heck even CSI is too fake for me. I also love Real TV, Cops, and the Best Police Chases for the action.
