Sadly yes, importing figures like this always sucks because of how much they cost. It will probably even be more money to get Ginrai.

I see this site mentioned a lot on the podcast but every time I try to use it everything I want Is sold out. I've seen preorders sell out withing a few hours. Lol. Kinda frustrating. But they have some great prices. I must be using the site wrong.

I can't wait for mine to arrive. I still think it looks amazing. I wish I didn't have to wait a few more weeks, but I didn't want to pay for EMS shipping. Still, shipping to New Zealand is pretty cheap from Japan. It's much cheaper to buy these figures direct from Japan instead from a place such as BBTS, for me, which is a nice change of pace. It also means it's WAY to easy for me to spend too much money on Japanese stuff....

Word of advice for AmiAmi: Either refresh the site every second when new pre-orders are due to go up (some people know the timing, I myself do not), or pre-order things that aren't so popular. They have great prices, but that means that pre-orders often sell out quick. I've seen figures sell out in under a minute before. It's insane. But yeah, the less popular stuff is usually easy to get ahold of.

Not sure if I need it but I kind of want it. Not sure if my girlfriend would approve of something like this either in the house. Hmmm

I've got this toy, and can't stand it..
Seriously the joint system is absurdly bad..

On the positive note it's MUCH bigger than I was expecting (coming in around the size of Bandai's SIC line of toys. I was expecting her to be more like sh figuarts). But the joints are awful. I did a youtube review on it.

    Pieces LOVE to fall apart.
Once it is set up and just sitting there it looks great.. But trying to get it into any type of pose or anything like that.. Man very frustrating.. It's not an easy toy to work with. I'm lucky I went the Amiami route and paid less for her (cost plus shipping) than the US stores are offering her for (not that much less) prior to shipping..

But even at that cost unless you LOVE Minerva as a character (I do) I can't recommend her.

Here's my YT Video if you're interested:

This is interesting to hear. I have the QB Leina and Nanael that were released in this line and they're solid. Joints are good and they are hard to get apart.

Hoping mine comes in today. Mine was rerouted from my old home to my new one 2 days ago.
