Ever hear the statement "One man's trash is another man's treasure?" So you think Superion Maximus is only worth $25. Fine. Good luck finding one for that, as the law of supply and demand has caused it to be worth way more than that, even loose/complete. That's what happens in a free market economy. People control the prices. Most people will pay around $40-50 for one (loose complete) or ~$70 (Sealed) because it's harder to find. They'll pay more just to have one.

Here's another example... Going right back to my Supreme Starscream. I was offered $25 plus shipping for it. I go onto ebay and see what it's going for. I see one LOOSE going for $61 plus $15 shipping with DAYS to go. 10 bids, last I checked. I paid $30 for mine. If I decide to list mine on ebay and I end up getting $61 for it, am I a bad person? No. Am I a scalper? No.

And another one, just because I can. G1 Megatron. Retailed for ~$20-30 in 1984. Inflation puts it at around ~$30-40 if it retailed today under the same conditions. However, a MI(S)B Megatron consistantly goes for more than $100. Are those people that pay that bad people? No. Do they support scalping? Probably not.

Need I continue? RID Scourge, KB Bludgeon and Scourge, BM Primal Prime, TRU Reissue Prime, and the Botcon 2007 exclusives feel like they need mentioned.

Prime came in a box, not a card.

Why? You're the one that doesn't know what he's talking about. Squirrelcar is one of the most intelligent members here. If anyone knows what's going on, it's him.

Look at the completed auctions. Ask ANYONE here what a Superion Maximus is worth. They'll give you the same answer we gave, we're just the only ones that give a damn.

Where's Draven when you need him? Or Jux, for that matter... MMM?

Like I said just because some people buy him for $60 and I can go to some flea market etc. and buy him for $25-30 compared to spending $60 on E-Bay..That doesn't make sense...I live outside the E-Bay Box I don't always run to E-Bay to buy shit...I don't have to I have others sources.

So just because I could/would buy him for cheaper that doesn't sit well with people....WOW!

Well don't start bashing me because I can find it cheaper! Isn't that what most collector's want to do? Find it cheaper?

Don't get me wrong if the price is right I'll go to "Evil-Bay" too but if it's too high then I pass

You're the one that accused the seller of being a scalper because you can find it cheaper. Maybe I can't? Maybe most people can't? He's asking fair ebay value for an item on ebay. Who would have thought? For the record, I do 95% of my dealing in the Junkion or in retail stores. I just run to ebay for price checks.

And you have to admit it that sometimes when 1 of an item is on E-Bay is goes for $$$ next time there is 5 of them and the prices goes down. And then if someone buys and item and pays $$$ for it he then re-lists it for higher to re-coop his money. I e-mailed the seller and that was why it was so high.

Wow, you just explained the concept of supply and demand which, consequently, drives free-market capitalism and eBay auctions. Congratulations on discovering the wonderful world of economics. You can go places with that kind of knowledge.

It wouldn't have gone downhill if all of you didn't "Pile" on

OK that's how some people do things...
