Seems awful early to be promoting a figure, unless they mean I had to have joined by LAST march 16th. Oh well, I'll sign up and hope for the best.

They were the first cons to show up in infiltration which is the first story arc IDW did. Think they got killed off in devastation by the reapers. Sad sad day.

Damn, if there just releasing Sideburn now. I guess we wont see Runamuck and Runabout to this time next year???

I'm still on the fence about joining but if I do I sure hope Hasbo has other Classic based figures out to keep us occupied.
    Hopefully

And here I thought it was more fitting and a better match as a Classics Lightspeed.

I stopped reading the comics when they did that. It felt like they were killing them just to kill them, not for any particular reason. After all, why keep them around when we have Thundercracker and Blitzwing and Starscream - you know, characters that haven't been done to death. : / Luckily, their death saved me the time of trying to follow that wretched All Hail Megatron series... Anyone doing orders for them for us folks outside USA whom its not practical to buy from the club themselves due to their quirky shipping policies. ?

Having kicked myself that I seem to have missed out on the loose Stunticons and Cheetor & Ramjet I thought it a good idea to at least ask in advance if anyone can help with linking me up with items from the club ?

Nothing yet here. I was starting to wonder myself if anything was happening outside of America.

Funpub has organized two TF conventions in the south (BC2005 in Texas and BC2010 in Florida); and how can they hate 'southern folks in the middle of the country' when their HQ is localted in Fort Worth, TX. ;)

It's us from *outside* the country they hate! :D

(J/K Pete and BotCon staff) :D

Basing the calculations on this year's figures, the toys should be around $60. This year the one with new tooling (Cheetor) was $52, and the one without new tooling (G2 Ramjet) was $58; that was probably because G2 Ramjet is a more popular character/toy than Cheetor. I would expect Runabout to be close to $60 and SG Drift close to $50.

I got mine last friday. IIRC, Brian or Pete posted that you should contact them if you haven't gotten your free toy by September 1st.

I know what you mean, man. I probably would've passed on them altogether if not for that panel at the end of issue 1 (or 2, I forget) with them going "Gimme". Furman and EJ Su made them totally freaking cool to me.

YES! Nobody gives the first few issues enough credits. They really played up the robots in disguise and the twin R's really won me over.

since 2006 botcon has been basically unreachable for us folks in this part of the country, botcon has practically been east or west coast the entire time, even ohio, which is technically midwest, was still easier accessible for the folks in the east coast than us down here

the fact they are stationed in texas and they continue to try to make the convention as far away as possible for us just boggles my mind

Unreachable?? Hardly. Hop on a plane or get in a car. If its unreachable for you, it must be the equivalent of space travel to the international crowd...yet somehow they make it.

Doesn't TFCC know they risk total universe-implosion by giving us battle chargers with more than 0 points of articulation? :)

Glad to see these guys getting some love. My mom put one in my Easter basket in... what would that be, '86?
