Great looking toy but the fact he’s a con still bugs me, I just don't like a combiner being made up of different faction. I know it could make for an interesting story but to me a being made up of 5 minds that would seem to totally disagree with each other just does sound right.

 

I said it before, but i seriously think he looks like Superman...

Yeah that was a great Energon combiner mold. Those little guys rocked!

 

Just don't ask them to combine and try to pick up something...

massively dissapointing (and i really liked Skyfall)

basically didn't rejoin the club because of this ~ can't believe they didn't even remold the faction symbol.

 

The top of the tank, the part that's not done in clear plastic, actually looks rather good. Unlike Skyfall (to an extent), the clear red plastic is pretty tacky and plain-looking, though. I feel better about not renewing this year.

Stuff from MC suggests a 'Con he stays, and that there's some sort of explanation for a dual-faction combiner.

 

They said in the newest issue of the club magazine, he IS a Decepticon. Apparently, it's part of their story.

 

Remember what happened in the show though, the limbs were drones just like Prime's, so their faction wouldn't really matter. Hell, Stormjet combined with Steamhammer's limbs at one point, maybe they're going for something like that.

 

Except Skyfall clearly has his own personality in the mini comics.

 

He does look like Alpha Trion.

 

No, because Skyfall (whom I believe is inteanded to be the left leg or left arm?) clearly has his own personality. They've basically said in the current newsletter that he will be remaining a 'con and that the reasons for that will be explained in the future comics. From what Vector Prime eluded to in the most recent issue (see part of Skyfall's story is that he doesn't know who or what he really is and all... just that he's an ancient Autobot from Speed with an odd Alt mode) VP says something about some of the Autobots loosing their memories. It probably has something to do with the combiner character.

 

That is incredibly unispired and lazy...though I'm not a member of the club so I guess my opnion doesn't really matter anyways...just commenting on the overall looks

 

You guys all act like it's a simple thing to just slap a new faction mold on a toy. Remolding's EXPENSIVE!

While that is true, it would not have been difficult to paint a cross or some thing over the con symbol and put a autobot symbol some where else.
