...there were repeated full body shots of the monster. Including one where you get to see a full, clear shot of an oncoming view from a 39th floor of a building as the monster charges head first down an empty street.

As for the toy, I can't wait. If it's joints are all hidden under a rubbery skin it would be totally worth it.

 

You get a plenty good look at Clover in the film, just not many shots for an extended period, and most or only parts of him or from farther away or at different angles.

Also, don't go see Cloverfield expecting a monster movie. It is NOT a monster film. Clover is far from the main point of the movie. It is much more about the characters...guess kind of a character drama.

Most anyone disappointed with the film went in with the complete wrong expectations.

 

Ok - but how does the beast look like? does it look like a reptile?

 

Sort of like a shaved, wingless bat or something

 

the pic i saw the head looked like a brood alien, the body had two big rear legs, and i think it had four flippers in front of that and t was a reddish brown, had a big tail too.......not real clear in my head, been awhile since i saw the pic

 

I'm pretty curious to see this... a big honky toy of this monster would be rad...

 

Yeah. Have to wait and see if I'm impressed with the monster in the movie before I even think about getting this one. I still think a hundred plus shipping is pricey. However Sidecutter said he does consider it a "Masterpiece item".

 

$100.00 and it's only 14 inches tall...?

For that amount it should be atleast the size of Fort Max...

 

If it doesnt come with Bite in half Hud I'm going to be dissapointed.

Yeah but did Hud actually get bit on half? Or did it just savage him for a bit?

Anyway, the monster looked like some kind of reptilian ape thing to me.

Anyway I'd at least like to see pics to get a clear still view of the monster, which we are kinda lacking seeing as it's not on DVD yet.

14 inches tall, 70 point of articulation, 10 parasites, the Statue of Libertys head, 2 interchangable heads and sound. For $100? Doesn't sound bad. Considering that the Monster should be around 2 1/2 feet long. This is a pic of the Monster from what I seen, in the movie.

Huh. Monster's face kinda looks like a cross b/w Godzilla's Orga and Star War's Rancor.

Now, I'm itching to draw him fight against Godzy or Gamera.
