I have QB from back when he came with the opaque hand and there wasn't a Megatron with him. Like rub, it doesn't matter to me: got a Megatron with mp01, mp13, and kbb thundercracker.

Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in or anything. You should be able to find a mini Megatron if you really want one, though. A quick ebay search finds one from MP Soundwave. US seller with pretty good reputation: Transformers Official Genuine Masterpiece MP-13 Megatron Gun Pistol Accessory | eBay
Pretty pricey at almost $30 though.

I had Quakewave, nice figure but I hated the legs and prefered a wider chest, so sold it and got the MP for acuracy, but it does not work with the other MPs like MP10 or Soundwave, too toony and bland.
I've just got Quakeblast and I'm loving it, neither perfect and a bit too bulky to my taste, but it is the one that works better for what I want.
I've painted the details inside the chest silver so they can be seen more, and made the stupid thick hand thinner, that bugged me a lot.
Now I'm tempted to paint the cannon hand silver too, but not sure... would anyone?

Friends don't let friends pay $30 for a stupid mini-megatron. PM me if you want one and I'll hook you up for significantly less than $30!

Baba came thru and my Quakeblast arrived today! The wait was painful but oh so worth it!!! THIS is an MP Shockwave! WOW!!! I'm not going to rip on Lilacwave from Takara as I do like it enoug to keep him around. But this how he should have been made. The deep purple makes him look so much more evil and imposing. He's taller than Laserwave and has more overall mass, which also adds to that menacing look. Even more impressive in hand. Very well done! What a difference it makes on my MP shelf, too. Lilac wave is now joining his more cartoon-oriented MP's like Meteor and Grapple. They have their own section. Sunbow shelf, I guess I can call it now? :D

I'm even more tempted to get the black one. Maybe even get a FT Quakewave? Eh, why bother. Quakeblast has better looking legs and finish.

Finally got one on ebay that wasn't a seller going rogue. Third time's a charm, I guess. Looks great in person, but the gun handle parts are super tight on mine...I really don't want to force it. I would have liked the alternate hand, but mine did come with the Megatron gun.

Are you talking about the hinges on the sides of the legs? Mine were pretty stiff the first time but after transforming it a couple of times they weren't so bad.

I just opened up my Quakeblast, he finally arrived after 3 weeks of super slow aerial travel.

This thing is a beast! Looks imposing as hell. Even though it is only 3-4mm taller than MP Soundwave, it gives of noticeably more menace than SW because of how the upper torso is built and angled. I thought I was going to hate his head because it looked basic and simple in the pictures I've seen before, but it fits the figure perfectly in my opinion.

I didn't get any extras, neither the opaque hand, neither the little Megatron gun. I don't mind. For the price I got it on ebay it was a steal. This figure is highly recommended as an MP Shockwave, much more so than the Takara Shockwave/Laserwave, unless you're going for the toon accurate aesthetics in your MP line. Takara wins in that department hands down. Cloud 9 Quakeblast is more of a "All are dead"/Marvel style Shockwave than toon Shockwave.

As for the plastic hose that he comes with, some people complained that it won't attach properly. It attaches, and it attaches super tight on the hand side. You see, hose has a groove, inset ring as you will, on either end. While the body attachment point is a smooth hole, the attachment point on the arm has protruding ring of plastic at about 2mm depth (there are 2 attachment point on the hand, front and back). You have to force your hose into the arm until it basically snaps into place and the ring in the arm hole fills the groove on the end of the hose.

You and me both! I was so excited to get a shipping notice for my preorder with ShowZ - which turned out to be fake.
His supplier created a fake shipping number just to hold the order. I had to dispute to get refunded, and I've lost my "11.11" discount. :(
