Ha ha... I just got a KO Prowl and Wheeljack from Best Grey. Smells to me like he smokes wherever he keeps and packs his inventory. Which is fairly likely in China.

C9 never responded after a couple months I think it's a lost cause.

Anybody have any ideas for repaints or custom fun? I've got an extra qb and I'm tempted to try and mix things up with him a bit...

 

I painted his spare clear hand a lighter purple...looks much better. Out side of that I don't know.

Only bought Quakeblast because its Shockwave and I collect Shockwave's.

But this guy is actually really good! I think I under estimated just how good he was.

Oh he is, trust me! When taken out of the the packaging, he's legs are not fully extended. Confused me initially as I thought he had lousy posing in the leg department.

 

When I first bought qb, I didn't have a ft qw so I really don't understand the chatter about qb being a rip off of qw.

However fast forward a year or so and I have since picked up 3 various qw figures, it just seems painfully obvious that c9 ripped off fts design and then modded it. There are just too many design elements that look the same but are augmented slightly. Whether you call it a direct ko or an "inspired by" I would say IMHO that c9 definitely had a qw next to them when the were working on their design.

Not thpat I care or think it's a bad thing. The mods are way more than if you compare say the bb7 seeker kos I hooked up members with vs. The takara mp11 original mold. The mods are so much that you feel it really is a different I figure but you can still tell when you have them side by side that one seems likely to have copied the other.

Just my 2 cent perspective a year later after owing qb.

 

This is my shelf Shockwave.

Large, menacing and virtually perfect IMO.

I see him as a balance between G1 anime and Marvel comics Shockwave.

The huge metal feet are perfect and the transclearant plastic is a bonus.

 

Guys, how do I prevent the gun arm from breaking when I'm transforming it?

Just got mine, I can't unfold the gun grip, they are super stiff and feels like I am going to break it...

Anyone has similar experience?

 

I actually got one yesterday too. The gun grip is really stiff and just takes some work. They did finally give on mine, but I was careful and tried to only put pressure on the joint to avoid breaking.

BTW, was he supposed to include a opaque hand as well as the standard translucent one?

Mine comes with a solid and a translucent hand.
