I actually really like the new altmodes. It makes them look a bit more like brothers, the colorschemes are great...Wonder what changes the robot mode designs will have, though.

Depends on their robot mode designs. Mudflap might be a new mold, or at least an extensive remold.

I think that whenever it occurs we could have had Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. What's cooler than a new corvette, why, two new corvettes.

 

Finally, they're real twins. Well, identicle twins, anyway, as apposed to two ugly kids who looked similar in the second movie.

Yea it is a tricky conversation to dip into. Even if you say that you think it was an unfortunate series of events by several members of the production team that came together to give the wrong impression you can still be labeled a bad person.

With any luck though the film makers have made enough changes that there will not be the same questionable choices a second time. For all we know there could have been major changes to the Twins to keep the same controversy from happening again.

 

I think the best way to do that would be to give Skids a holomatter driver (played by Tom Kenny) dressed up like this:

 

I liked the changes from the start. And I didn't have any kind of problem with the was they were portrayed in the slightest, so I'm good with however the come out.

I'd kinda like two TF with the same alt mode choice but that have completely different transformation schemes and robot modes (the reverse of those G1 Clones that had the same robot mode design but completely different alt modes), but then I suppose that would take them further away from being twins.
Maybe when these guys transform their main green and orange colours will be in their robot modes. I doubt it though.

Ah yes, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe would've probably been a somewhat better example of what I meant than my 'reversed Clone' example.

I don't think the alt modes were ever the problem with these two. Change their personalities and head designs, then worry about the alt modes.

 

You can clearly see it in the second pic. Not too sure about the actual brand of the tires, but they're definitely dyed to produce colored smoke.

EDIT: Got the names mixed up. The tires aren't KUMAs; they're Kumhos   The exact model is Kumho Ecsta SPT.
