Yesterday I was doing the spring cleaning in the basement/toy space. Lots of dust, cat hair, laundry lint, spiderwebs and egg sacs, what have you. I took the shop-vac around and under the toy shelves but what I DIDN'T do was check for fallen toys first.

As I stuck the vacuum hose under the Classics/Universe shelf, don't you know it, something harder and more rigid than dirt or cat hair rattles up the hose.

I woke up this morning wondering just what that could have been. I thought it might be a gun or a missile, and checked the toys. Bear in mind this is the shelf where I display my Botcon toys too. What's missing? Alpha Trion's missile.

Luckily I was able to get the vacuum bag out of the trash and cut it open on the back porch. Moving handfuls of you don't want to know what from one trash bag to another, I was able to find A3's missile after 20 minutes.

What a relief. THAT would have been a pricy one to replace.

    Congratulations on finding it.:)

I've lost small parts a lot more common, and I get fussy over it. I know how good it feels when you reclaim it. :)

Ohh man, close one. I become obsessed when I lose something like that. Will not stop until I find it. Good thing you heard it going in the vacuum.

I lost cybertron Hightail's cyberkey when he fell off my shelf. I still haven't found it. That was over a year ago. I think it just evaporated.

Nice save. I once was burning my old bank statements and set fire to a signed picture of Christopher Lee
