Hey its CJ with his big gun.

the basic idea was to make a CJ design that could not be passed off as BumbleBee if coloured yellow.

The alt mode is a mix and match of MK2 Golf GTI Rallye and Lancia Delta HF Integrale so a boxie 80's hot hatch.

Saw this on your DA account first but thought I'd reply here instead.

I have to say, the thing I like the most is the chest. I can't think of any Transformer I've seen that incorporates the windscreen and roof of the car in that manner. The best thing is that it works. I can't really comment on the Bumblebee vs. Cliffjumper issue as I never saw much of G1, but the design is quite good.

Well Bumblebee, Tracks, and Sunstreaker come to mind, but this is still great.

Blitz, a lot of your designs would rock as actual toys, especially this one of Cliffjumper. :thumb

Nice. I like the car grill in robot mode. that really brings it home as "this was a car a minute ago". Nice BFG too.

Neat idea, the altmode suits him. Liking the details and the soft brush colouring also. The relatively big feet fit the name too.

Only crit I have is that the bazooka seems a bit twisted due to the ellipses being inconsistent. Got some straight bits where they should be curving harder due to being higher up.

thanks guys the bazooka is supposed to flair out at the front but its was never going to be perfect (being all done with free hand and all)

Perfect is one thing, but the way I see it this is just a matter of planning though. If you start at one end with a single ellipse and make each next ellipse just that bit rounder by using construction points on the axis for the cross sections (or straighter depending on your starting point - my guess would be the one nearest to the horizon would be best), you'd not have the situation where you have round at the bottom and round at the top but straight on a third from the top. Regardless whether that'd be perfect.

Forget it myself a lot as well, but working on improving that. ;)
