I was reading the gameinformer article about Fall of Cybertron weapons then look who I ran into:

If that's not Cliffjumper then I'm not Splintershot! Looks like he will most likely be a playable character in FOC. I don't know whether this I already known news or not, though, so I apologize if you already heard this.

He does look a lot like Prime Cliffjumper. I hope he is in the game though. Cliffjumper was my first Transformers toy and he's special to me.

A-yup. That's Cliff. I love the head and that he's still a Bee repaint. :)  Here's hoping for a new toy because I really don't care for the WFC Bee mold.

Prime's heavily stylised, FoC much less so. Sticking Prime Cliff's head on the WfC Bumblebee body looks bad tbh. I liked the way he looked in Prime, but this is an unsuccessful attempt to fuse two styles, IMO.

I'm really hope they develop his character in the Fall of Cybertron game, seeing as he'll die and get turned into a dark Energon Zombie before we can get to know him on Earth.

This isn't the same as Prime, they're in the same continuity family but it's more like how the G1 comics are to the show itself

I don't believe they are seperate continuities myself, but that's just my personal view, and I'm not going to go into it here.

I'm just glad he'll be in the game.

So people bought Generations cliffjumper to put his head on classics Cliff...
INB4 people buy another Prime: Cliff to put his head on generations cliff.

Looks like they cut off Bumblebee's head, painted his body red, and put TF Prime Cliffjumper's head on it.

Which is mostly accurate. I wonder if The Rock will be voicing him again.

I guess I'll have to buy his toy, then... it's the only from W4C I still miss...

I do believe Lord of the Rings is more close in continuity with W4C than Prime... the only link between the two is Dark Energon, and it's totally different in the two franchises. In W4C it's a synthesized which only Starscream knew how to create that enpowers Megatron and corrupts Vector Sigma, in Prime it's an unknown compund to Starscream and Not-Unicron's blood which uses the dead to create cannon fodder (seroiusly two Autobots vs 1000 and not a single zombie survive?). Also, if W4C and Prime are in the same continuity, why does Starscream should fear for Megatron stabbing himself with Dark Energon if he did quite the same thing back on Cybertron in the game? Did the Seeker got a virus surfing porn sites and got his memory banks formatted? And what about the mass production of it? Why did Megatron had to go searching for it for years if he just manufactured it?

your sig makes your statement lose some of its merrit, but regardless:

lets say, in the comics for G1, the Autobots went to Tokyo and did some stuff. Later on, in the cartoon, the Autobots go to Tokyo and do some stuff. Both times, Bumblebee exclaims "wow, I've never been here before"

They are in the same continuity family, despite not being in the same continuity. They are both G1, but different parts of G1. Like Shockwave being loyal in the cartoon, yet not in the comic.

Same goes for Alligned. W4C, Exodus/Exiles, and Prime are all in the same continuity family, despite being independant stories which only partially relate to the others. Different stories within the same continuity family.

Not a fan of the Prime head stuck on the WFC design. Pretty sure it's because I know it comes from two different aesthetics. Wonder if I'd have the problem if I'd never seen Prime first.

I wrote that sig after seeing the season finale, so there's a reason for it...
But I get your explanation, that way it makes kinda sense the alligned continuity.

Back to Cliff. I too don't like much that Prime head on W4C body. The more G1esque head of the toy is way better (and in line with the other characters too), they just don't mix right.

I really don't mind Cliffjumper's new head, to be perfectly honest.

Katern84, I totally and completly agree with you about the continuity of WFC & TF Prime. I was beginning to think I was the only one.

I like the Prime style Cliffjumper head on the WFC Bumblebee body, I think tjat HM did a good job of WFCisizing it

So, Cliffjumper has the same body-type as Bumblebee. Does this mean they'll use the same transformation, or will both of them be different (like the Seekers)?

We'll have to wait and see. I would suspect they will be the same.

And for the record, I kind of like this head. It certainly doesn't feel all that out of place to me either.
