Just ran across this today. Never laughed so hard!
Ugh, redneck humor.
Sorry people move along. This was a false lols alarm...
Nothing funny to see here.
Sorry to say it but that was the worst parody I've ever heard/seen
That...was incredibly failtastic.
Not even a chuckle out of this one. =\
Oh well. Maybe it's cause I'm a redneck that I find redneck humor funny. *shrugs*
I never did like Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel" song... the country radio station my parents are always listening to played that song literally to death every single day.
This parody of the song is just as worse... I couldn't bring myself up to watch more than a minute of it.
"Just as worse", is that a phrase?
Don't listen to country, I don't get it. Sorry.
But it did remind me of the British comedy skit called "Old Greg" thou for some reason.
I used to listen to country music up until I was in junior high, since it's the only music my parents ever listen to (well duh, we do own a farm).
These days, I hardly ever listen to country music, but if I do, I mostly listen to Big & Rich. Damn, those guys rock!
Especially since the fish wasn't all that big in the end
Yeah, I tried watching it again... couldn't make it.
Do you have an aversion to just avoiding TC? Can you ever just let something go? I'd say you're bordering on trollish behavior. Leave TC alone, we get it, you think it's all fake and you're gonna be there to prove it or something.
TC's posts can be nerve wracking, but generally inoffensive, you on the other hand are just stoking the fire.
Probably helps (er, relatively speaking) to have heard the original song, huh?
I like redneck humor and I thought that was incredibly failful.
*Read's AnimatedFan's response to LilithMorrigan*
Uh... how should I put this without sounding offensive and getting an infraction as a result? Um... on second thought, I guess it's best left unsaid.
*High-tails it out of thread*
Grew up around rednecks and can't stand em. They're fu*&ing idiots here.
Easy to manipulate as well.
Me and a buddy used to get free cases of dry Gin , in gallons. But we would'nt touch the stuff , taste like shit.
Anyway, there were 3 houses in the neighborhood that always had the redneck parties (joe's , pat's and robert's) and we used to stop by and stash a gallon of it on their porches.
As always, they'd find it , then celebrate finding it, drink it, fight even more and it's puke city from there. They never even mixed it lulz. The beer's was enough, but that messed them all up.
While they're fighting, we'd lure the women away with joints and leave.
That was the teen days though, they're kinda funny now. There's a few cool ones these days
Do you like telling people what to do?
There's a schnit load of country I love, from the older stuff like Patsy Cline to new stuff like Toby Keith, but this song was annoying even the original was a horrid listening experience, also there's some redneck humor I like and others I don't. Like the singer Cledus T Judd who parodies Faith Hill's song is a great one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SbZ6BFwqgw (Yes that's WWE's Sable in the video)
Meh. Cletus' best parody is either 'Me Cellmate Thinks I'm Sexy" or "How Do You Milk A Cow" Neither are quite at the 'Weird Al' level, though. At least Al tries to sing.
