Found these new shots.
Looking good! Any pics of the combined mode?
Sweet.... I am getting tempted to buy this along with Nightbeat for the bro.
Man, I was tempted to buy these. I had a collection going of G1 combiners goin. But I had to sell them to buy stuff like gas, food and booze. I really wish I had the money to afford these. The colors are kinda weird, but so were generation ones.
Nightbeat will be mine though!
They look more and more interesting to me, did a price came up for these yet?
Not great, but here's one.
not tempted at all...
Did I count 6 bots there? I was under the impression that it would be a 5 bot deal like the other repaints. I have an original but he's not 100% so I'm all over these! I gotta renew my membership, but first I'm gonna go drool over those pics some more.
They look FANTASTIC!!!
All 6 will be included.
Well I own the prototypes and they appear to be completely unchanged.
I'm finding myself wondering more and more whether we might expect to see a 25th Anniversary Seacons reissue set from Hasbro. What with this apparantly being the only servicable Scramble-City style combiner mold set left other than the Combaticons, and the money already having been spent to do any repairs necessary to them. They can't be making back the return on these molds they hoped for with just a Club release.
I always loved how the Octopus looks more like an octopus in robot mode
I hope this means theres going to be a piranacon encore release at some point.
no he doesn't. but he can stand up on two legs in beast mode - are you talking about that?
I think its unlikely that Hasbro will be coming out with a Seacons reissue, considering they weren't able to get support from any stores in the first place.
I hope so too.
Yeah, the serviced the molds thinking they would be able to issue a mass release. I think this is the way they are trying to make their money back.
"I know 100% that toy molds (which are HUGE) are stored with an example of what the mold produces stored with it. The same is true of packaging machines. This is how myself and other collectors have secured prototypes. This is also where the recent G2 Motormaster came from as I know the mold was examined around the same time by Hasbro & Tomy for the purpose of a upcoming release of the mold." I am trying to say that by this statement, G2 Motormaster that I got came from a recent inspection which proves that the Stunticons' Molds are also usable as well.
