This is an Osaka Toy Fair 2001 Exclusive. it's a legit Car Robots set...and snagging one is pretty cool....Price was pretty high a few years back, so $24 buck for the set is a great price....Now I don't know if there are KO's of this set....but from all pics I see, it looks like the actual set....

    Thanks for the rapid replies.

This is why I have come to rely on the folks here at TFW for my collecting info.

This is a great buy then for me as it gives me a unique completion to my car brothers part of my RID collection to go along with my Omega Prime and Optimus set .

Someday soon I will break out the digicam and get some photos of my Transformers shelf to share witrh folks once I figure out how I want to display them.

    Thanks again guys.

    Hey!

I'm one of those who paid top dollar for the set back in the day it was fresh from the show. It's still one of my most treasured CR belongings. The box is amazingly cool!

I paid a good deal more than that for my set- congrats!

They're a bit underwhelming in hand... if I remember correctly, the 'guts' of each of the figures is identical to the super versions, with the outside shell being transparent. Would have been nice if they were completely transparent, but any release of these molds is good, as far as I'm concerned.

I have the set as well, purchased it a few years ago from Ebay. Those are not KO's, as the box in the background clearly tells.

They are pretty tight, and the clear plastic really looks nice. As far as the guts being the same, X-brawn's pretty much are the same, as are Sideburn's, but Prowl's have a couple of nice touches, like clear plastic on the tailpipes that fold up beside his chest insignia, and the chest piece is also clear. Good price for a great set, IMHO.

Agreed. BBTS is selling a set right now on sale for $96 bucks and most auctions on Ebay that Ive seen have gone for a lot more than the $24 you paid for it.

    Congrats.

I bought mine for like ... I don't remember, from Tim Formas. But it was more than that! But less than $50 I think.

Nice! However, the $28 shipping price is not, but it still comes out to be fairly cheap.
